I guessed the Box and the Contestant in both competitions. Along with correctly guessing the amount.

you said you guessed the contestant and the amount in the box right and that's 2!

He meant the 1p guess too. You guess the contestant who is playing the game and what box the 1p is in as well as this section where you guess what amount is in the selected player's box.

It's confusing. The £250,000 guess is which guess the £250k is in and what player has it.

1p guess = What contestant is playing and what box 1p is in

Guess the amount = What amount comes to the table.

It should be really:
£250,000 guess stays the same
1p guess has what box 1p is in and who opens it.

Amount guess should be what is in the chosen contestant's box and whothe chosen contestant is.

The current format is confusing and makes no sense!

The formats of the guess comps are a little odd due to the fact that "back in the day", different people would do each competition and at the time it was just guess the boxes which had £250k and 1p in, and guess the amount in the player's box.

Then I introduced the "guess who's playing today" thing and Aaron took it on board with the 1p comp, then Ben Miller 176 introduced "guess which player has £250k" into his guess £250k comp.

When the forum update goes live later in the summer, I think a little re-shuffle will be in order now that it seems to be only Jimmy, Ben Miller 176 and I (and Jimmy and I share the guess amount comp anyway) who do the comps. What CM has suggested is a good idea, and the GTA comp could be re-named to "Guess the Amount and Player at the Table" or something.
