OK. Another go at the game on http://www.dilan4.freeserve.co.uk/maths/dond.swf

I chose Box No. 18

Round One

Box 6 = 1p :D :D :D :D :D
Box 15 = £1 :D :D :D :D :D
Box 5 = £500 :D :D :D :D :D
Box 11 = £750 :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Box 14 = £35,000 :x :x :x :x :x

BANKER OFFERS = £7,400

Not bad offer - but no-one walks at the first stage

NO DEAL

Round Two

Box 10 = £1,000
Box 7 = £10
Box 16 = £250

BANKER OFFERS = £17,800

That is mega tempting! Really good second offer. But still got a strong board. Hope it doesn't go wrong

NO DEAL

Round Three

Box 12 = £3,000
Box 22 = £5,000
Box 8 = 10p

BANKER OFFERS = £21,000

Again good offer. Not gone up as much expected as I didnt take out a large number. Banker obviously wants a play-on.

NO DEAL

Round Four

Box 19 = £50
Box 17 = £250,000 :x :x :x
Box 3 = £100

Damn! Took out the 250k.

BANKERS OFFER = £15,000

Going to play on - there is still three of the power five.

NO DEAL

Box 4 = £50,000
Box 21 = £10,000
Box 1 = £15,000

BANKER OFFERS = £13,200

At the moment lost out on the £21k. Damn! Board still has £75k and £100k. Worth going on and risking

NO DEAL

Round Five

Box 20 = £75,000 :x :x :x
Box 9 = £20,000 :x :x :x
Box 2 = £5

BANKERS OFFER = £46,000

DEAL

Damn, in my box the £100k - in box 13 = 50p.

Lost out on £54k

Oh well - £46k is still good![/i]

Playing the Razzie game, though I've tweaked the offers slightly so they're a bit more testing early on and a bit meaner later - as I think that's more realistic. I've probably misjudged it.

Code:
Rezzie's DoND .NET v1.5.1 - 05/05/2006 19:44:25

You had Box 16.

Round 1
Box 13:   £5
Box 8:   £1,000
Box 4:   £75,000
Box 14:   £15,000
Box 3:   £1
Offer:   £5,400 (NO DEAL)

Round 2
Box 12:   £3,000
Box 18:   £10,000
Box 21:   £10
Offer:   £8,300 (NO DEAL)

Round 3
Box 10:   1p
Box 2:   50p
Box 17:   £20,000
Offer:   £20,500 (NO DEAL)

Round 4
Box 9:   £750
Box 6:   £500
Box 15:   £250,000
Offer:   £20,100 (DEAL)

Round 5
Box 7:   £250
Box 5:   £50
Box 20:   10p
Offer:   £32,000 (PROVEOUT - MAX OFFER)

Round 6
Box 19:   £50,000
Box 11:   £35,000
Box 22:   £100,000
Offer:   £1,920 (PROVEOUT)

You accepted an offer of £20,100 in round 4.
There was £100 in your box. (Box 1 had £5,000)

Conclusion; fourth offer was too generous. Tweaking accordingly.

And fancy that - an all-blue round after the deal, followed by hitting all three remaining big numbers in the next round. Couldn't make that up really.

Certainly contains the worst round ever. Has anyone ever done that in an actual show, that is, taken out £250k, £100k and £75k in a 3-box round?

Not to my memory. JT nearly did - post deal, taking out the £50k, £100k and £250k.

Can't post it because it was a while ago but:

a) First time I played the UK version with the noises of the seal coming off, whatever version that is, I won 250k (last two boxes 100k and 250k - I am so skilled)

b) I played a paper version with my sister, whom I forced to participate, and she won 250k as well (with a swap at the end - brave girl!)

Just goes to show - it can be done!

We played a game with my Year 8 top set on Thursday. They No Dealt until the end when they were left with a £500 v £75,000 decision. Ended up winning £500! Good fun, although one of the pesky kids nicked one of my envelopes.. :x :x

Hahah, I just had an Aaron-style all-blue opening round, before proceeding to take out 9 reds in a row, including everything above £10,000. What a letdown.

Edit: Oooh, but I won the £10,000! Still would have been better off taking the first offer, though.

In this game I had a final five of 1p, £50, £15,000, £100,000 and £250,000.

Offer was £44,000 - if this were real money I would certainly have said "Deal" but decided to play on and go for the top prize...

Next round started with £100,000 :(

Followed by... £250,000

And finally... £15,000

Comedy final offer was £22 - I no-dealt, swapped and joined the 1p club!
