I thought the 53k was rather generous. I don't think the real Banker has been as generous as that on that finish.

Last time that finish came on the actual show, the Banker offered £47,000. However, that was back when the Banker was in is early-2014 "force most players to the end" phase. I think nowadays he'd offer £53,000 on that finish, as he usually offers the Fair Deal rounded to the nearest £1,000 on finishes like that nowadays (and the Fair Deal was £53,117.38).

Like when he offered £62k in proveout on a £50k and £75k a couple of weeks back

Anyone remember the Deal or No Deal Game on WeDigTV? I played it shortly after it was launched, and ended up with a final two of 50p and £250,000 with Box 4 on the table. I think the final offer was in the £70,000 to £80,000 range. I thought the final offer was pretty good, but I declined it anyway, going against everything I believed in.

The swap was then offered, and I declined that as well. Box 4 was then opened, and the quarter-mill was inside. It was a huge risk, but from that day forward, I never took such a huge risk in an online game again. These days, I'm more apt to undersell a larger amount than go the distance. Yes, I like big money, but if I get an offer that's good enough for me, I'm done.

I'm a £20,000 to £30,000 targetist mostly. If I'm playing Le Banquier, six figures is my goal ($150,000 to $200,000 would be my range). If I can get more than that, it's great. But if not, and the price is right, I'm a-dealing. I prefer guaranteed money over potential, something that people who work in finance and investing should know about.

Here we go with my game again (I promise I'll release the update ASAP!). It has randomly chosen 22 for me, so here goes!

8 - £10! Decent start...
18 - £10,000
11 - £100,000! :|
15 - 50p!
5 - £50,000! Would've preferred a better opening round in all fairness!

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£6,000

And the offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,700

... meaning the band was £6,030-£7,370. You little sod. NO DEAL.

4 - £5,000
14 - £1,000! Good so far...
9 - 1p!! :D

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,800

Better! Though I'm doing okay at the moment! NO DEAL.

19 - £250!
1 - £35,000! First P5 hit since the first round...
7 - £50! I'd argue that round went slightly in my favour...

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,250

... with that offer confirming my thought! That is a really good offer though, considering... It has to be another round though, NO DEAL.

17 - £750!
6 - £1!!
10 - £500!! ALL BLUE!! :D Definitely needed that!!

8-box Board:
10p
£5
£100

£3,000
£15,000
£20,000
£75,000
£250,000

And the offer?

BANKER'S OFFER

£21,500

Brilliant! This is a hard call... I've had some pretty tough games recently, so I'll DEAL! :smt023

13 - £250,000!! EXCELLENT NEWS :P
3 - £5
12 - £100! Just one blue at 5-box, with the £75k still in play...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£10,750

He would've halved me, and I definitely would've carried on with three higher.

20 - £75,000! That's what I call a banker spanking! ;)
21 - £15,000! Would it've been the worst possible round?
2 - £20,000!! Holy *beep*, it would've!!

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£750

That would've been horrific, and of course I'd have played on. The hypo-swap is offered, and I certainly would've swapped for 16...

16 - £3,000! Either way it was a good deal, with 22 holding just 10p!

23 time...

DOUBLE - £43,000
+£10,000 - £31,500
MONEY BACK - £21,500

HALF - £10,750
NOTHING - £0

It seems as if reasonable play has resulted in a more than reasonable payout, so NO DEAL!

23 - HALF!

That, my friends, is how you play a perfect game! :smt047

Good game there :) that 4th offer was unusually generous...

Gonna be hard to top that, but here goes... dilan 04, I have box 17.

13 - £15,000
21 - £20,000
18 - 10p!
2 - 50p!
14 - £50!

A decent opening round there.

BANKER'S OFFER

£5,500

Is this the playtheshow banker by any chance?

No deal.

6 - £10!
15 - £3,000
9 - £1,000

BANKER'S OFFER

£13,400

Not bad, but no deal.

22 - 1p!!!!!!!!! :-D
20 - £100!
11 - £10,000

Still have the power 5 in play, which is remarkable by my standards...

BANKER'S OFFER

£24,000

Pretty good offer, considering I've only got 5k as a backup... but no deal.

Board : £1, £5, £250, £500, £750, £5,000, £35,000, £50,000, £75,000, £100,000, £250,000

3 - £5,000 Now the only reds left are the power 5...
19 - £250!!
5 - £250,000. Oh, balls.

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,900

And that's how one box can dent your offer...
No deal.

Board : £1, £5, £500, £750, £35,000, £50,000, £75,000, £100,000

16 - £35,000 Ooh-er, could be ok as long as the next two are blues...
1 - £75,000 Gaaah, not good...
8 - £5! Phew.

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,200

No deal.

Board : £1, £500, £750, £50,000, £100,000

10 - £1!!!! Right, £500 next please...
7 - £500!!!!!!!!! Just one more to go...

12 - £100,000 NO!

Still got 50k though...

£750 vs £50,000

BANKER'S OFFER

£24,000

Very generous offer, so deal.

17 - £50,000. Darn. Never mind.

4 had the £750.

It did seem it, although my game has a tendency to be quite generous if you have a good round, and I did have an all blue round before it!

Anyone (in the right mind) would've taken £24k in that game btw!

I'm going again with my game, using KP's Bonus Box 23, which includes six options, all the original ones plus a BONUS, which, if your winnings are less than £10k gets you an extra £5k, or will increase your winnings by 50% if you win more than £10k. It randomly selects Box 7 for me, and we're away!

13 - £5,000
20 - £1,000
22 - £5! Looking good so far...
10 - £50!
6 - £75,000! Not a horrific opener by any means... I think my prediction will be

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£7,750

And the offer?

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,150

... with a band of £7,335 - £8,965! The offer button is mine! :D NO DEAL.

14 - 10p!
11 - £1! Would be great to pull off an all-blue now!
15 - £20,000! That's alright!

BANKER'S OFFER

£13,500

Straight into five figures, and higher than any second offer this month! It'll have to be NO DEAL though...

18 - £50,000!
19 - £100,000! Oh good dear christ...
21 - £750! Bloody needed that one!!

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,900

That's actually really generous considering that damage I've just done, but the button's still with me - NO DEAL.

8 - £100!
4 - 1p!
3 - £500!! That's my second fourth round all-blue in a row!! As before, I'm expecting a particularly generous valuation here...

BANKER'S OFFER

£18,500

... and it sure is! Though I have the button this time, which I may actually use at 6-box all being well, but NO DEAL for now.

16 - £250!
5 - £250,000!! Nooooo! :( Will be difficult to climb to that offer again, but I'll save the button for Round 6...

15 - £15,000! NOT helpful :smt011

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,200

You tight *beep*. I'm still in control here and I can get more than that. NO DEAL.

1 - £10! Nope, waiting with the button...
2 - £3,000! That's looking quite nice now!

BUTTON TIME

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,400

Two boxes doubled my previous offer, though my offer will be quite nice if I keep the 35 in... NO DEAL!

12 - £10,000! I so hope he doesn't stick now...

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,800

He's only added £400 to that last offer :| KP's 23 has two ways of saving me, so I'll say NO DEAL...

The swap for Box 17 is offered, and rejected... Lucky 7, on the table...

7 - 50p!! :( Gutted... The swap would've brought Box 17 and £35,000 to the table!

23 time...

DOUBLE - £1
+£10,000 - £10,000.50
BONUS - £5,000.50
MONEY BACK - 50p

HALF - 25p
NOTHING - £0

Of course it's a DEAL, and lets hope it can save me here!!

23 - +£10,000!!!

Thank heavens for that! £10,000.50 I'm quite happy about as a result of that game, though it could've been £28,500!

Same as above, again. Let's hope I can do better than the £10,000.50!!

Random box on the table is Box 6

4 - £250,000! Hahahaha christ...
18 - £3,000
13 - £250!
9 - £1! One more blue would be nice...
1 - £75,000! Ugh, ugly first round...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£3,750

This would come in handy if it's right...

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,200

You're taking the royal piss. The range was £3,780 - £4,620. What a *beep* of a Banker. NO DEAL.

11 - 1p!! There we go!
14 - £5,000
16 - £750! Needed that round!

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,300

I think that round deserved more than a £2.1k increase, so NO DEAL.

12 - £50!
17 - £5!! Ooh come on...

21 - 10p!! :-D

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,500

Very nice indeed, though that block of reds backing the £100k is even nicer. NO DEAL.

11-box Board:
50p
£10
£100
£500

£1,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£100,000

Round 4...

19 - £100
20 - £500
5 - £35,000! Slight reality check after an awesome run of blues...

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,000

Interesting... Box 6 has a 50% chance of having more than that in it though, and there's only two blues left, so NO DEAL.

15 - £50,000!
22 - £10,000! Need a blue here and I think I'll be alright...

Squashdown:
50p
£10

£1,000

BANKER'S OFFER

£3,200

An understandably derisory offer. NO DEAL.

3 - £20,000! Give me a break...
7 - £1,000 Oh please don't...

2 - 50p! At least this won't be the third £10,000.50 game in a row. BT with £10/£15,000 left...

BANKER'S OFFER

£3,900

Quite an extraordinary game come to think of it. A run of six blues followed immediately by a run of six reds... I'm gonna have to say NO DEAL to this.

No Swap offered...

6 - £15,000!! Thank GOD for that!! :D 10 had £10! Now for 23...

DOUBLE - £30,000
+£10,000 - £25,000
BONUS - £22,500
MONEY BACK - £15,000

HALF - £7,500
NOTHING - £0

Five of those six numbers are incredibly nice. DEAL...

23 - HALF

Gaaaah... Still, £7.5k out of a game that only peaked at £12k certainly wasn't a disaster! :)

I'm quite proud of those offers that game was making from 8-box onwards! I'd have seriously considered £10,500 if I hadn't had the button!

I agree. Without the button I'd definitely need a guarantee to be sure of ging on at 8 box (and it would probably have to be at least £26,000 for me to be certain even then!). In fact, I probably would use the button at 6 box and dealt then if the offer was £18,000+.

$1,000,000

BANKER'S OFFER

DEAL

Unlike most other versions, the Facebook game has no proveout. The player's case is opened immediately after the offer is accepted. Inside my case was...
[11] - $1,000,000

Daah. Well, I'm still happy with what I did, so no regrets :smt023.

With the $50,000 bonus I picked up during the game, plus a $24,000 "Friend Bonus," my total winnings are $504,000. Not too shabby.

Thanks for FINALLY posting a game in which you didn't spank the Banker, Dr. Hindsight. :smt023

Now, do you have the courage to be a contestant on a forum version of the show (i.e. ACB's or Archstered's DoND)? :smt047

I rarely spank the Banker when I play the Facebook game, Ben. In fact, I think I've only ever done it twice.

Regarding your offer, cette offre est refusee. I know for a fact that you would set me up to fail.

He returns! :D

Skyline's Forum Member DoND - Version II. As played by daniel123. I have box 16. *beep* number.

In Round 1, I opened box 19, starting on a fantastic note by eliminating Charles; box 18 then found Killersbee and in number 1 was the creator, Skyline - a great start thus far. I then went for box 22, taking out Archstered, my first red, but this was no big hit; neither was my next opening, number 11, which completed the round with the Aaron Brock.

Three blues and two reds and the Banker wasn't overly concerned; he opened his business at £6,500, an offer I declined. NO DEAL.

Round 2

My sixth selection was number 21, and this contained the Brick, which I didn't mind at all. Next up was 2, on the right hand side, but a minor calamity struck - Jimmy departed the game. In my final box, number 9, I hoped to break this red pattern - but was unsuccessful, instead finding the Dr. Hindsight, which left the right hand side of the board rather sparse indeed. With 8 blues and only 4 reds remaining, it was Banker Time.

Banksy wasn't encouraged, offering a generous £12,375, but again I said no thanks - it's a NO DEAL.

Round 3

So, into the third and pivotal round we marched. My first opening this time was number 4, which eliminated jakecarroll84 from the game - a blue, at last! On the right track, yes? Well, time would tell, and second of this round was box 6 - but in a tragicomedy of epic proportions, I revealed myself, and I thus left the board and the game. Third and final of round 3 was number 10, which contained the willrelf. Time to hear from the Banker.

The Banker didn't say much, because he doesn't in this game, and only spoke to make his offer - £14,355. In the circumstances, it was a pretty brilliant one, but the verdict remained the same. NO DEAL!

Round 4

Lots of blues to try to blow away, but crucially, we still had the jackpot intact, alongside the KP and the hogwild94.
First up was 17, which contained ACB, which was gleefully shattered into a thousand pieces and never seen or heard from again. If only. :smt047
Second came 13. In this box was the KP - the third-highest amount remaining - which didn't help matters. Anyhow, we moved on to the final selection of this round, which was number 8 - out went the BankerSpanker, and everyone was most delighted; we could now enjoy our game in peace. sdgthju Banker time!

Banksy phoned, I answered (you don't get a choice in this version, or any version for that matter) - and he told me his offer. £22,650 was now the price placed on box 16, and a decent one at that. I was inclined to Deal, but then I realised this was a completely artificial game, so I decided to play it 2006 Dan's way instead. The conclusion - NO DEAL!

Round 5

***PRESENT TENSE***
Here's the state of play at this important point: for the blues, I have Brony, Mark, mr_northern_guy, matthew17 and Davao left - and for the reds, only psychokiller, hogwild94 and the venerable h2005. As long as I can keep both the Hog and the H in play until the next offer, I've got a great chance. Although I've just said I'm playing to the end anyway, so yeah.

First off, numero 5 - which reveals the matthew17, a great beginning. We continue with 20. Box 20 contains Brony, which is a magnificent continuation, but what of the ending? Might I just have an all-blue round at the crucial time?
Box 14 is opened, revealing hogwild94! Well, that's a wee sting in the tail, but of the two amounts I wanted to hold on to, I've managed one. 50%'s not too bad.

The Banker tells me nothing, because he doesn't talk, and offers me £37,400. True to my word, I say NO DEAL!

Round 6 - Final Round

Now then. All or nothing. Here we go. One objective - keep H.

Box 12 opens itself to reveal Davao.

Number 15 shows me Mark.

I now have mr_northern_guy, psychokiller or h2005 in my box. A second of those is in box 7, and the third in box 3. My final selection of this remarkable game is number 7.

Box 7 -

h2005.

The Banker offers me £500. My answer is NO DEAL.

The Banker offers me the SWAP. My answer is NO SWAP.

My box 16 is opened, and I win mr_northern_guy. Box 3 contains the psychokiller.

See you next time on Skyline's Forum Member Deal or No Deal Version II.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

OH DEAR...............OH DEAR...............OH DEAR...............

Should've been a LOT LOT LOT more sensible!!!!!!!!!

OH DEAR...............OH DEAR...............OH DEAR...............

Unlike a certain doctor with a degree in hindsight bias would, I'll back up these words by having a go at the game myself!

I've been assigned Box 20 at random.

Round 1:

1- Aaron Brock

3- Brony :D

5- Archstered

7- Dr. Hindsight

11- Brick

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,375

With all of the Power 5 Forum Members in play, that's an EASY NO DEAL!

Round 2:

13- KP

HUGE gap on the right side now.

15- jakecarroll84

17- Davao

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,250

Now that would be a toughie facing the 2015 Banker and an EASY Deal facing the 2013 Banker, but since this version uses the Mean as it's primary benchmark rather than the Fair Deal, I'll definitely NO DEAL.

21- psychokiller :D

22- matthew 17

18- Mark

BANKER'S OFFER

£20,460

A good offer for the board, but again I'm playing this based on how generous the Banker is likely to be with future offers, so definitely NO DEAL.

16- willrelf

14- hogwild94

PLEASE let this be a blue so that I don't have to face a 2 box game at 8 box.

12-
daniel123 :smt011

BANKER'S OFFER

£26,250

Now things get REALLY tough. Facing anyone other than the 2005 Banker or the US Banker, this would be a definite Deal. However, there is likely to be a 2005-esque offer at 5 box should one of the Top 2 stay. With that in mind there is only an 11% of the offer crashing, with anything short of that seeing the offer halved at worse. Let's have a sweep of the wings:

Brony- Deal

Skyline- Deal

Mark- No Deal

BankerSpanker- DEAL!

Charles- Deal you greedy fool

jakecarroll84- No Deal

mr-northern-guy- No Deal (as this is one of his aggressive days)

matthew17- No Deal

Davao- No Deal

killersbee- I need to see how the rest of the game plays out before I decide

psychokiller- Deal you imbecile

willrelf- Deal

Brick- Deal, though it's tempting to go on

Archstered- No Deal

Dr. Hindsight- Deal

Aaron Brock- No Deal

KP- I'd need definite banker guarantees to continue on with this level of generosity, so Deal

hogwid94- Unsure

daniel123- Deal

Jimmy- Deal

h2005- Deal

12 Deals, 7 No Deals, and 2 Unsures.

Ultimately, it's my decision, though, so....

...you know what: I need some quality thinking time. Find out my decision after the break. ;)

Back from my 30 seconds of QTT. I've decided that the board is JUST strong enough to try for the mega-money, so NO DEAL.

Round 5:

10- h2005 :(

And just like that my decision is invalidated, unless by some miracle the Banker makes a stingy offer at 5 box AND I keep the £100k to the end.

8- BankerSpanker

One box away from being able to cash in on this board.

6-
killersbee :D

And the resulting offer is

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,300

Insta-DEAL.

NO WAY am I risking 71% of the average on a one box game.

Round 6 (prove-out):

2- ACB :?

4- Skyline :smt011

Did I squander a Power 5 win?

19-
Charles :smt011 :smt019

Banker time with mr-northern-guy and Jimmyremaining.............

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£48,750

Needless to say I would've dealt that. Everyone else on the wings has their Deal light on too, including killersbee!

Had I went to the end I definitely would've swapped, and the game definitely would've allowed me to do so, so let's pretend Box 9 is now on the table. ;)

Box 9 contains

£100,000 (Jimmy) :(

Box 20 had mr-morthern-guy (£100).

Oh well, better £14,300 (an Archstered, I suppose?) and regrets than a mr-northern-guy and regrets. ;)
