Round 2

7. £15,000

Nice, but NO DEAL.

Round 3

21. £1,000
13. £5 And we get stronger, and stronger...
16. £50 And stronger indeed!

Banker's offer:

£17,400

Rubbish. NO DEAL!

Round 4

12. £20,000 Pivotal round, getting off to an OK start.
19. £5,000
15. £100,000 Hmmmm.....might not hurt as much as it could have. Let's see.

Banker's offer:

£21,200

Decent. But an easy decision still. It's NO DEAL!

Round 5

22. £75,000 Oooohhhh.....
17. £10,000 High stakes now. Silence in the studio.
10. £750 YES!

Banker's offer:

£31,800

Realistically? DEAL AND RUN! Hypothetically? NO DEEEEEEAAAAALLLLL!

Round 6

18. 10p YES!
14. £35,000   Moment of truth. All or nothing. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. In box number 11....IS -

11. £250,000

Banker's offer:

£283
.
No Deal.

No Swap.

I win £250. Box 20 had the £500.

The following game really happened but will shock all of you into thinking it didn't. This was played on the Nothing To Do version:

My Box (choose at random): 17

Round 1:

11- 1p
22- £100
9- £250
16- £20,000
5- £5

Excellent opening round, but this version of the game gives a crap opening offer unless you have an all blue round

Banker's offer:

£8,600
No Deal

Round 2:

13- £1
4- 10p
15- £750

Seven blues discovered in 8 boxes. :D I'm well on my way to a possible all red 8 box. The offer is:

Banker's offer:

£23,000
 No Deal

Can this streak continue?

Round 3:

3- £3,000
10- £50
8- £1,000

In case, you didn't use this version of the online game, its offers (excluding the last) are heavily based o the flow of the game, including the color of the numbers discovered, so I know the increase won't be massive.

Banker's offer:

£24,000
:smt011 Absolutely NO DEAL

Let me remind you of the board at this point:
50p
£50
£250

£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£250,000

If I do the 1 in 165 chance of a perfect round at this point, I will have an 8 box stronger than any player in the history of the show.

Round 4:

7- £50
21- £250

If this next box is 50p, I will create a once every 100+ years 8 box.

I choose Box 6

It contains.........................

50p :smt119

I have just created an 8 box that would occur, on average, once every 39,971 shows

The strongest 8 box ever:
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£250,000

Again, the offers on this version of the online game are mainly based on the flow of the game. So now, the offer is:

Banker's offer:

£70,000

To say the least, this is a record 4th offer. At 103.7% of the average, though, the real banker would only give an offer like that to a player like £50k Rich or Scott (and they'd certainly decline it still). So, will I follow in Rich's footsteps and try to win the jackpot recklessly?

DEAL DEAL DEAL, A THOUSAND TIMES DEAL :-D

I never turn down an Above The Mean offer except on the dream finish (where the title of the FMQM is worth around £10,000 to me so I would decline up to £180,000 on that finish) and a 1p/pocket change(£100 or less) finish (as membership to the 1p club, which possibly includes being invited back to a future show, is worth around £100 to me). An AMO on anything short of that is an instant DEAL.

So , did I miss out on the dream 5 box (a 1 in 26000+ chance at the start of the game, a 1 in 56 chance at this point in the game):

Round 5 (prove-out):

1- £50,000
2- £250,000 :-D
12- £75,000

I avoided the near-nightmare round.

My less astonishing 5 box:
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£35,000
£100,000

It is to be remembered that this version of the game heavily bases its offers on the flow of the game. So how much damage did that round do?

Banker's offer would've been:

£8,500
:smt011

It would have been the biggest crash in Deal or no Deal history and it's only 5 box.

Only £50k Rich and £75k Daniel could've possibly topped that crash. I think this is the first big money 5 box where one can safely say even Beryl would've turned that down(though I''m not so sure about £24k Michael). Granted, the real banker would offer around £20,000 even under these circumstances. Anyway, would I have crashed (relatively) through the floor or would I make a nerve wracking recovery?

Round 6:

20- £10,000
18- £5,000
14- £35,000 :? (£15,000 and £100,000 remain)

That round, had it been in live play, would've produced the biggest sense of relief there's ever been in the studio.

Anyway, on this version of the online game the banker offers 90% to 95% of the average on every finish regardless of the previous rounds, so the offer would've jumped to:

Banker's offer would've been:

£52,000

I personally would Deal that offer given I have a flexible £50,000 target, though there's no complaints if you wanted to chase the £70,000 offer and/or 6 figures in this case. Anyway, I would have swapped at this point but sadly this version of the online game doesn't offer hypo-swaps. So, did I produce a mega-money banker spanking?

17- £100,000 :ponder:

To prove it:

19- £15,000

This was a rare (but not nearly as rare as my 8 box) technical outright banker win, though I certainly couldn't care less in this case. Unless you stupidly/over-cautiously dealt the £24,000 11 box offer or idiotically dealt the £8,500 5 box offer Noel would be congratulating you at this point for having the luckiest game in the history of the show.

Again this game really did occur. I how it is hard to believe given the odds, but so was several other games that went totally against the odds (£57k Brenda keeping the top 8 in play to 9 box, £75k Daniel keeping the top 5 in play to 6 box, £17k Emma taking the Banker's power 5 in consecutive boxes after taking out the £250,000 AND keeping the 4 lowest reds in play to 4 box, etc.). I would upload pictures of this game but I'm not sure how to do so on this site yet.

For the record, I'd have taken £44.35, as long as it was rounded to £44. I like 44, but not 35. Personal preference. :smt023

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Dilan04; I have box 4.

Round 1

3. £250 Good start
1. 10p Very good
15. 1p Very very good!
17. £15,000 That's alright
19. £5,000 Yep, that'll do, nice opener. I'm predicting £5,700 here.

Banker's offer: £6,100
Nice. NO DEAL.

Round 2

21. £250,000.
13. £50
11. £10,000 Not a good round there. Fair bit of damage. £3,200 I'm going for.

Banker's offer: £4,400 :)
Better still! But NO DEAL.

Round 3

5. £3,000
9. £20,000 Now that block of 4 is rather isolated....
7. £50,000 Ow. Not too good.

Banker's offer: £3,500
Hmm....No decision to make. NO DEAL.

Round 4

18. £1,000
22. £1
10. £500 That's a nice strong round, I'm going for....£6,800 here.

Banker's offer: £12,400
Very generous indeed. Or perhaps my bad board-reading skills (some things never improve with time....). NO DEAL!

Round 5

12. £75,000
20. £5
14. £35,000  Well....this is interesting....

Banker's offer: £2,900.
Well, to me £100 and £750 are still massive amounts of money. But is it worth risking £2,900? Poor though it may be, lowest offer of the game, I have to play realistically and it's a DEAL for me here. :smt023

Round 6 - proveout

2. £750.
6. 50p....
8. £100 :smt011 What are the ch----no, I won't even bother.

Hypo-inflated offer: £48,000.
Yes, OK then Banksy. You would've offered me £48,000 with a tenner or £100k remaining. Wonderful.

Righto then, in my box was £100,000. Box 16 has the £10. A resounding Banker victory if ever there was one. :smt009

http://dealornodealaverage.co.uk/ as usual. I have box 8, using my system which I always use!

Round 1

6 - 50p
18 - £1 Brilliant first two, let's not ruin it now...
20 - £15,000 Don't mind that. A low red and a power 5 in the opening round is what I'd like.
11 - £250
1 - £100,000 Ouch, but that completes my ideal opening round!

Banker's offer:

£8,500

Nice little opening offer, but it's only the first, so NO DEAL.

Round 2

5 - £5
4 - 10p Looking good... Perfect round?
15 - 1p  :-D

Banker's offer:

£15,000

Lovely! But it's a NO DEAL from me.

Round 3

Can we keep it up? Fingers crossed...

16 - £50,000 Reality check.
21 - £1,000
7 - £75,000 All red round!

Banker's offer:

£12,000

Was NOT expecting that! Extremely generous but there's at least another round in it, so NO DEAL.

Round 4

22 - £10,000 Slightly uncomfortable...
14 - £100
9 - £500 :D

Banker's offer:

£19,000

Now that is good... Huge gap between the QM and two back ups, playing realistically as daniel123 said; so it's a DEAL from me! :smt023

Round 5 Proveout

Let's destroy this game.

10 - £750 Not good...
17 - £10 :eyes: Surely not the hypothetical all blue round...
13 - £3,000 :smt011 This is going to hurt.

With a 5 box consisting of:

£50
£5,000
£20,000
£35,000
£250,000

Banker's offer:

£34,000
:(

Round 6 Proveout

One last chance...

2 - £5,000 Oh Lord...
19 - £20,000 This could be either fantastic or horrible. Not the perfect scenario?...
12 - £50  :(

Banker's offer:

£124,000
:smt011

I would have dealt.

My box 8 contains...

£35,000 Well, that's a consolation. :D

No surprise here... All along, the £250,000 was in box number (you guessed it) 3!

Congratulations daniel123, you have officially founded the online games Horrible Deals Club. :smt011

Anyway, I just played another Nothing to Do game that produced a very improbable event  .....................

The most stable 5 box you can have:
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000

The odds of being guaranteed £20,000 at 5 box is 1 in 4,389. The odds of having that very desirable 5 box is 1 in 26,334   . While I don't have all of the previous offers recorded, I know the previous offer was £25,000 and I knocked out the £1, £750 and £50 to produce that astonishing 5 box. Since the Nothing to Do version HEAVILY bases it's offers on the flow of the game, this is the offer that board produced:

Image

Mark, you wouldn't criticize me if I took that offer, would you? :ponder:

Ben Quickly Says:

The easiest DEAL I've ever seen on this show

I think that offer is the 2nd most generous ever in terms of the mean, behind some guy who got offered £4 on a 1p/£5 finish after his girlfriend insisted on it.

Anyway, would I have faced the wrath of Mark's statistically blind OH DEAR posts had I been playing for real last year?

Round 6 (prove-out):

3- £50,000

18- £100,000 :D

14- £35,000

Banker's offer would've been:

£43,000

Am I the first to sell £75,000 for a profit?

12- £75,000 (YES!!!!!! )

To prove it: 16-£20,000

Me of all people! :smt009

I'll go with Dilan04 again, and I'll have box 4 again. I'm unpredictable, me. :smt023

Round 1

1. £1,000 There's a good start!
3. 10p And a decent first blue
5. £1 More of that ilk please!
7. £10,000
9. £100 Lovely opening round.

Banker's offer:

£6,600

Rather poor. No Deal.

Round 2

11. £15,000
13. £35,000 We'll stop the escalation there, thankyou.
15. £750 And thankyou.

£10,800
Nice-ish. No Deal.

Round 3

17. £5,000 Slowly eating away at the lower reds, but leaving the ones that matter. Good strategy Unix!
19. £100,000 Not quite! :?
21. 1p Good recovery.

Banker's offer:

£9,700

No Deal.

Round 4

22. £10
20. 50p All-blue?
18. £250 YES! NICE 8-BOX INDEED!

Banker's offer:

£32,000

Worth another round, I decide instantly. It's a NO DEAL!

Round 5

14. £20,000 The temperature rises. Although that is only because I've just turned the heater on.
10. £50 QUITE GOOD
12. £50,000 Hmm. Food for thought here.

Banker's offer:

£25,000

That's actually an easy decision. If I keep the £75k, he'll offer me something like £36,000. Keep the QM and we're sky-rocketing. It's a NO DEAL!

Round 6

2. £250,000.
8. £3,000.
6. £5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Banker's offer:

£35,000

Thankyou and DEAL!!!!

Well, no hypo swap of course. So in my box? Was £500, box 16 contained the £75,000, I am redeemed, thank you very much and goodnight. :smt023

Dilan04 it is then, I have box 3 (obviously ;) ). Let's try Sarah's 'colour clump' system this time, except with numbers of course...

Round 1

13 - £50,000 Big red, so we go with 14 next...
14 - £250,000  Erm, yes... Better carry on.
15 - £5 Back on track hopefully.
12 - £35,000 Worst. System. Ever.
11 - £50 Needed another one of the Banker's there really...

Banker's offer:

£890

HAH. NO DEAL.

Round 2

7 - £75,000  :( This is just horrible...
8 - 10p Progress.
1 - £1,000

Banker's offer:

£2,500

Thanks, but NO DEAL.

Round 3

2 - £250
22 - 1p :D That's more like it! Much needed all blue round?
19 - £100,000 Oh my God.

Banker's offer:

£1,300

Shocking. NO DEAL.

Round 4

20 - £20,000 :smt011 From bad to worse...
21 - £500
18 - £3,000

8 box:

50p
£1
£10
£100
£750

£5,000
£10,000
£15,000

Banker's offer:

£1,000

Horrible really, NO DEAL.

Round 5

17 - 50p More of that please.
4 - £15,000 OH DEAR!
5 - £10,000 :smt019 This is one of my unluckiest games of all time.

5 box:

£1
£10
£100
£750

£5,000

Banker's offer:

£160

NO DEAL, obviously... To the end it is then.

Round 6

6 - £5,000 Now that is just cruel. It's actually quite funny because the 'system' worked in exactly the opposite way in which I wanted it to.
9 - £750 Fantastic. £100 next?
10 - £10

And so, with a final pair of £1 - £100, my offer is...

Banker's offer:

£47

You know what? DEAL!

My box 3 contains... £100!

Sums the game up really! Box 16 had the £1.
