Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Someone needs to take a stand against Endemol, the way they are searching out and destroying games, pictures etc. that surely only have the effect of promoting their show for them.

I'd like to see a game operator be brave enough to get into a court battle with them and get it all over the press etc.

It doesn't take a lot of effort for Endemol to track down any of the games, all they need to do and probably do is come to sites like this where we all share the links to the games. They just have to check a couple of sites to find the all latest links and go from there!!! In a way we are doing most of the leg-work for them!!!!!

The problem with taking on Endemol in a court is that a lot of the sites and games made are produced by individuals who don't have the funds to take on such a large company. I am just an ordinary guy who set this site up and run it out of my own pocket and certainly do not have the funds of my own to risk taking on a large companies legal department in court.

I have myself received 2 C&D notices for this site, one for the picture gallery and one for using the DOND box logo on the site. Both threatened court action if I did not follow their requests, as they owned the trademark and image rights to the show.

It is a shame that they take action against all the games and sites set-up, especially when they do not provide what the fans want on their 'Official site'.

I know I'm not a game operator, but I'm definitely willing to take a stand against Endemol, and if they really do read our forums, then I'll start off with a poll, and this time, everybody vote please, to save online Dond games from going extinct!

I, Daniel123, of Gosport, hants, hereby pledge to bring back all games that were ceased and desisted as of June 10th, 2006!

Good luck to you all and good riddance Cease and desist orders!

Would be nice to see someone with the finances to do so though, and just imagine it in the papers, "TV company takes game show fans to court" etc.

How about a standard letter/email to send to the chief executive of Endemol UK, if we can get a few hundred people from here to send a copy of it and ask for an explanation of why their legal jobsworths are targeting sites that can only be good publicity for their show and doing so in a way as to upset the loyal viewers of one of their most popular shows?

Something along those lines might work, could certainly get a reaction/response from them.

If they had an official game themselves (or even a photo gallery) then i understand their point.

But the game im seeing on their site is a random game nothing like the format or rules that we and contestants play. Thank God i have Rezzies game (not the latest though :( ) on my computer, and i hold various secret links to games. Endemol are not taking them off me, there is nothing they can / will do about it, and im 14 so they cant take me to a court case.
