Tomorrow it's Pi Day!!!

14th March (3/14) is international pi day! Woooo

Whilst you may not share my enthusiasm about pi (I've learnt it to 50 digits), I'll give you some linkies anyway.

Pi funny video (for the maths experts):

And most importanty, my very own Pi Day competition to win a brand new men's watch which retails at £129.99 :

I remember your Pi avatar Steve, back in the days when you were more of a regular on here!

Let's see... 3.1415926535 is as much as I can remember off the top of my head, will check one of those links to see if that's right now!

(Edit, it is right, though if you cut it off at that point then strictly the 5 at the end should be rounded to a 6...)

From wiki

Wiki wrote:
During such an event, pi celebrants may approximate π, devise alternative values for π, eat pie, play piñata, drink Piña Colada, eat pizza (which itself is called pizza pie), listen to the song "Pi" by Kate Bush, watch Pi, or recite Pi. The song 867-5309/Jenny is sometimes sung, replacing the digits with the first several digits of pi.

Only 50? Pah.... Amateur.

Sadly Pi Day is nearly all over, we'll have to wait until 22nd July for the next Pi celebration.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
