As Manchester and Birmingham battle it out for England's second city which do you think should get it and why?

Manchester for me even though Birmingham has a higher population

Manchester purely because having visited both cities, Manchester seemed the nicer place to go.

I live right by Birmingham...but I might be going to Manchester next year...so I'll say Manchester.

I'm sure Manchester's a nice place, but I don't think I've ever been there...while loads of my family live in Birmingham and I've been there a million times. So Birmingham.

I would have said Manchester not so long ago as it has improved majorly in the last few years, but seeing as I'll be living about 10 miles away from it in the not too distant future then I have to say Birmingham lol

Technically IT IS Birmingham and because I'm all for technicalities, I'm going to vote for that.

OK, so I voted for Manchester. Although Leeds should have been an option. Wow, I never knew you could write this small.
