I've had loads of fairly crappy jobs, but one year I was heading out to work on a camp in america so I thought I'd earn some pennies by working in Maccy D's for a while before I went. Big mistake..............

My official title was 'lobby hostess' but I was basically a chip sweeper and bin lady :( I remember the say I quit very clearly............... junkies have a tendency to use McD's toilets when they have the 'urgency' that accompanies the after effects of drug use. It was my responsibility to clean the toilets and at the end of one arduaous shift where I must have swept up ten tons of chips and thrown numerous kids out I went in to clean the mens toilets only to be confronted with what I can only term as the smell of the inside of a sewer that had been blocked for 100 years  There were two cubicals , both of which were no longer white to a hight of about 5 foot !!! Really - how can someone hold so much poo inside them without exploding!!!!! I quickly scarpered out of there, trying not to add to the mess with the contents of my stomach and locked the doors. I told someone that they were too bad for me to clean and they said "tough *beep* its your job you have to clean them"

I said there was no effing chance I was even going back upstairs and I was going home.

I feel my decision was a wise one - I mean........... I'd need danger money for cleaning that kind of thing and they were barely paying me enough for a bag of the fookin chips I was spending all day clearing up !!

I still can't eat mackers :smt078

I've heard some horrible stories about what goes on behind the scenes at Maccy D's. My cousin used to work there and said that amongst other things, she once saw one of the guys on the late night shift "massaging" himself and adding a whole new special kind of sauce onto one of the burgers. I hope she was lying for effect but it really wouldn't surprise me if it were true....it was Toxteth after all.....

I personally couldn't care less what's in a McDonalds, it tastes nice!!!

Although my Mum is always on a diet, so I never get to have one. But I know when you hear about the fat and salt content in foods, it's meant to shock you into not eating them, but I really don't care as long as it's tasty and gives me a bit of an energy boost.

I expect everyone's going to shout at me now..... :-)
