Can you download videos off of Youtube?

If you Mozilla Firefox you can download an Extension called "Video Downloader Addon".... A little icon shud appear in the bottom right corner when it has been installed, click on it and it should downlaod, But it is not working for me + youtube

Yep, you have to rename the extension to .flv in order to play. If you want to watch in windows media player, you need a program called super, so you can encode it in wmv.

You can then watch the videos in the .flv player which you'll need to download. This method is so much easier than the firefox way.

But .flv is a bit limited. You can't move the timer to a certain point and you can't make the movie bigger.

Well the one I downloaded ages ago was like that. Not sure if you're talking about the same one.

It depends on the file. I use it quite a bit and about 20% of the files turn out like you say. It's quite annoying when that happens, especially as it seems to be quite random whether it occurs or not. Besides, I use Riva encoder to turn all .flv files into .mpg files to watch with Windows Media Player so it doesn't really bother me.
