Here’s some I found earlier:

Famous names:
Margaret Thatcher = That great charmer
William Shakepeare = I’ll make a wise phrase
Elvis = Lives

Others:
The Morse code = Here come dots
Election results = Lies! Let’s recount
Desperation = A rope ends it
Punishment = Nice thumps
Conversation = Voices rant on
The hurricanes = These churn air
Husband and wife = Fun was had in bed

And here’s some I came up with more specific to DOND:

Noel Edmonds = Lemon sodden
Power five = Few over pi
All or peanuts = Natural slope
Newbie = I be new
Banker spanking = Began skin prank
Chase the money = Meet cash, honey!

Any further contributions are welcome…

DOND anagrams you’ve invented yourself are especially welcome…

I suppose this is technically an anagram, even though it's just a word spelled backwards...

Stressed = Desserts

It's a little bit like the final round on countdown where there is a made-up 9 letter word and the contestants have to buzz in with the correct 9 letter word for 10 points.

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but I got told one which scared me a bit. It involves Madeline McCann so if you are sensitive to this subject it's probably best not to look in the quote.

Quote:
Maddie = I'm Dead

Yeah, and hardly any of daniel123's had any relevance or made any sense. What a buffoon.

You may find it useful, HS, to know that I copied those from a website I found while searching for "anagrams" in Google.

I'm not sad enough to come up with so many anagrams. Let alone so many that are that crap.

That said....if by my standards they're crap, the likes of HS would find them utterly fascinating I daresay.....

Well then maybe you shouldn't have posted the crap ones.

And you were still sad enough to participate daniel123, so there's no good trying to talk down to me :roll:

It's scarcely an anagram, but the phrase "Was it a car or a cat I saw?" is exactly the same forwards as backwards.

(Geddit? No? You have to stick all the letters together like this, "wasitacaroracatisaw", and then read them from right to left, breaking the words up differently.)
