As some you know Im doing me A Levels and was just after a bit of advice from you who are doing them or have finished them.

We keep getting told that for every hour of lessons in school we have to do an hour at home, do any of you actually do that? because I dont, and its worrying me!

My advice would be to work hard and do as much revision and studying as you need to! Try and look at past papers and base your studying around that. You might have to write a lot of essays, and as boring as they are, it can really help you, so I would suggest practising them as much as possible!

Hahah, they told us that at my school too....that means that, in theory, I should have been doing 22 hours of homework per week last year. In reality it was more like 2 hours.

Really it just depends on the subjects and how good you are at them. Some people work their arses off all year and still don't do as well as the ones who do *beep* all and get the grades because they're just naturally good at it. I'd say that if you're getting the grades that you want at the moment, then don't worry about it - if you're not, then you might want to put more work in. There's no point doing a load of extra work if you're good enough to get by without it.

Yes I did, and that's why I'm at Uni now. I worked my arse off! My other advice is check past paper answers to make sure you're giving the right answers to questions, my music teacher cocked it up by not reading the syllabus properly for the exam board, so model answers are a good way to start.
