My friend Caoimhe was telling me a funny story a couple of months ago. Sometimes when they were getting ready to go to school, about to walk out the door she'd meet the postman carrying these massive parcells into the house. They discovered her Mum and Dad would sit and watch the shopping channels and order all this weird stuff.

Maybe it's one of those you-had-to-be-there moments, but it was a funny story then!

Anyone heard of Chase It.TV? It was a scam channel but it was very entertaining to watch.

Yes Chase It. TV and Auction World were good but were not delivering goods to people

They're strangely addictive aren't they?

Peter Simon on bid.tv is hilarious and I quite like the presenters on price-drop.tv too... I even bought some t-shirts from them once...

Shopping channels, like call-and-lose 'quiz' channels, can be hilarious viewing.

My mum does use Gems TV and hasn't had a problem with them though. There's one host there who looks a little like Lucy to me...

I was addicted to QVC when we first got cable in 1998. Even though we never actually bought anything from there ever...ditto for every single other shopping channel today.

I really need to start sometime.

Price-drop TV is the best... where else do they try their hardest to sell an electrical product but the batteries are low and the screens are dirty :-D
