ANY DAY NOW........

....my first grandaughter should be arriving, due date is today (June 20th), and I am SO EXCITED I can't sleep!!!! :lol:

I really will have to try and get some sleep, cos if Emma starts in labour during the night tonight, I will be dashing up there to look after her 21 month old, my grandson Billy.

today(20th) is a special day as its my mum and dads 25th wedding anniversary so were going for a slap up meal.... at 5pm soi i can then watch the footy at 8 :-D

WELL, Anya Mae, my first grandaughter finally arrived on Friday 23rd June at 1:30 am. If you're interested in baby pics, theres an album with pics here.

She weighed 8lbs 13oz, and gave us a worrying 24 hours in special care baby unit, but she is doing fine now, and hopefully coming home on Wednesday.

Thanx everyone, I must say, the best thing that has ever happened to me is the birthof my two grandkids, Billy was born in September 2004, and he now has a little sister, who I don't think he knows quite WHAT to do with, he doesn't seem to understand that in a couple more days, she will be coming to live with him.

She had 48 hours in special care, and scared us all to death, but hopefully home on Wednesday, and then the fun will start when Billy starts to get to know his sister properly. :lol:

I'll say one thing for my daughter and her hubby - they sure do make GORGEOUS babies, our Billy is absolutely gorgeous too. :lol:
