This is certainly one of the hotly debated issues of my Generation along with, Eric Cantona or Andy Cole, Oasis or Blur and Pogs or Gogos.

I'm asking you, Mario or Sonic?

I have to say i'm firmly in the Sonic camp, although I did like Mario Cart on the N64.

And also, why have I starting talking like Alan Partridge?

ARGH ONE OF THE MOST TOUGHEST DESCIONS OF MY LIFE!!!

I would say Mazza because of the following:
1.He was the orginal platformer of the modern gaming era.

2.Each of his games have sold lots more however 3D Mario is something I don't like as much.

3.Super Mario Bros 3 (my fave Mazza game) was one of the best sellers ever

4. Everyone likes a bit of entertaining loveable Italian Mazza

Now the reasons why I didn't vote Sonic.
1. Don't get me wrong his first 2D games were absolute quality and really rivaled Mario but the 3D ones are absolutely bad.

2. Sonic has declined since 3D - Nothing beats 2D with something like Mario or Sonic

3. Sonic was made after Mario so he ain't the kingpin yet

PHEW! Thats all the reasons I have at present

Sonic the Hedgehog, without a shadow of a doubt! I've got the Sonic Collection for the Gamecube- it brings back memories of my Megadrive days all those years ago!

I couldnt possibly choose.

As a kid my mum never let us have a games console but one day my sister borrowed her friends nintendo and I played Mario non stop for a whole week until the friend wanted it back. Then when we would visit our chalet in Kent I would go to the local arcade and pay 10p to play sonic and Bobble bobble (or whatever it was called).

I did buy myself a sega mega drive a couple of years ago and love playing sonic on it but I also bought a gameboy and play mario on it, see how hard this is for me.
