In 1996 on a flight to Orlando I was on the plane with Jenny Powell back when she used to turn the letters on Wheel of Fortune. She was immensely diva-ish, basically playing the 'do you know who I am' card every 20 seconds.

On another holiday to Toulouse (in 2007) we found an Irish pub there and inside was Toulouse/Ireland rugby player Trevor Brennan. We didn't realise this at the time, but it came two months after he was banned for life after basically doing an Eric Cantona and punching a fan's face in after they gave him a bit of verbal during a game.

I still haven't met any celebrities...

...unless you mean famed science professors ;D

More reasonable definitions of celebrities - I've been served steak by Sid Little, shook Jeff Minter's hand, attended panels where Phillip Pullman was on (Most notably, of course, a Moomins panel), also one which Eric Lang and Tony Boydell was on, and seen The Chuckle Bros., and Rod Hull at shows...

...Also went to the nightclub that was owned by Keith Harris, if that counts...

Saw Micheala Strachan on holiday a few years ago.

Not a celebrity as such, but definitely a notable human. An absolutely tiny person of about 1 1/2 foot in a dingy nightclub toilet. A shoe in for the smallest living human record. The toilet attendant wasn't sure if this person was male or female and gingerly pointed out that ''these are the men's toilets''. No response from the wee woman. Absolutely tiny even by tiny people's standards.
