This thread should not be used to score points against other members. Also just as a side note - whilst those unspeakably atrocious looking purple creatures are obviously a great passion of yours 'Brony', your signature is actually much too large and subsequently also extremely disturbing to the eyesight. Please do reduce the size when you have a spare moment. Thank you kindly. :smt023

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

1. Attention seekers on YouTube. You know, the drooling idiots that leave those STUPID comments about "thumbs up if...", Bieber jokes and Anti-JB comments (You know, all those death threats and homophobic comments he gets daily ) , or just bragging about being the first comment, Hate it with a passion.

By the way, Justin Bieber doesn't rank anywhere near one of my biggest pet hates, I'm honestly indifferent to him. After i heard 'Baby' i tried to avoid his music, and when i heard his newer stuff like 'Boyfriend' and 'As Long As You Love Me', my reaction was 'Meh'. I still don't get why people love to treat him like he's the worst thing to ever happen to mankind :smt011

2. People who consider heroes to be boring compared to villains

3. The whole 2012 Apocalypse thing that went around for much of last year. I know the whole 21/12/2012 doomsday thing is irrelevant now, because he we are nearly a month later :-D . It was one thing for the Mayan people to make THAT prediction all those eons ago, but a part of me thinks that just maybe, it would've have gotten so much hype if there wasn't a big movie made about it which there was back in 2009 :eyes:,

I know most people cracked a lot of jokes about 21/12/12 in the lead-up to it, i knew everything was gonna be fine, but a lot of people took it to heart and some religious people even built underground shelters ready for that day, and that turned out to be a big waste of time. Bottom line is, it should not have leaked into public knowledge and so people wouldn't have spent all of last year worrying, and i'm sure those people may be embarrassed now, knowing NOTHING happened.

It was actually a beautiful day here on December 21, Sunny, 28 degrees, and not a cloud in the sky :)

4. People who are madly religious and try and force their religion on you. People can be nice regardless of their race or religion, just as long as they're excepting of other people's way of life. I just loathe the overly religious people who expect anyone that comes within 10ft of them to adapt to them and demonize them if they don't

5. 21st century slang like YOLO, Swag and Haters. Because they're used by the idiotic youths of today and they pretty much use them as an excuse to do stupid things, like partying their lives away and engaging in illegal & criminal activies

6. Today's mainstream music. A lot of it's bland, plastic, unoriginal and pretty much sounds the same

7. Advertisements at the start of YouTube videos, seriously, YouTube adverts are the longest 5-30 seconds to sit through

8. People who say that death metal is THE ONLY real music in the world and 100% of everything else - regardless of whether or not it is true talent - is crap. I honestly despise of death metal because it just sounds like vomiting and not singing

9. Something we're having a problem with where i'm living at the moment, really hot weather, infact tomorrow is supossed to reach 40 degrees celsius for the umpteenth time this month :|

10. Animals/creatures being demonized by ancient folklore

11. People who say "Cartoons are for kids" and that i should stop watching cartoons when i get older,

:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

My brother loves that nonsense and it's honestly enough to make me feel sick. If he hadn't spent his own money on his dreadful 'Metal' CDs, I'd chuck the whole lot in the bin, not before scratching them with a scalpal to render them useless if any soul decides to pluck them out of the bin.

I totally agree with this...I am one of those "youths" and I can honestly say I hate it too. At least one person is sensible, in a non-boasting way.

Absolutely. I can't stand the slang we have thesedays. Yeah, there has to be slang of some sort or we risk that unique "spirit" of being a "youth" dying out completely, I understand the need for it but come on. Surely we can think of much better words than the ones we have in this current era.

I mean, at one point I heard a woman on the television (from The X Factor :smt011 I believe) saying "you were Shamazeballs today!"

SHAMAZEBALLS? WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?

Ah. My generation is well and truly lost. :smt009

Well we're having the exact opposite. At the moment, in the UK, we've been getting temperatures of about -5C!

Few more things i thought of that piss me off

- Indian call centre that try and obtain information off you with they're surveys and telemarketing!

- When the internet connection runs slow or doesn't work

- While i'm happy to be on Skype now, I'm just annoyed that i was forced to join Skype because MSN messenger is getting phased out now

- Cultural stereotypes, especially ones displayed in American cartoons, the one that annoys me is the fact that nearly all American cartoons have us Australians down as: living in shacks in the desert, wearing old ripped clothes and cowboy hats, carrying boomerangs around, riding in Kangaroo's pouches and overusing the word 'Crikey!', And i also hate it when they have an Australian character in a cartoon, they get some American to do their voice and give them an exaggerated 'Crikey' accent, beleive me, we sound NOTHING like that!

- People keeping on sending me invites and game requests on Facebook, SERIOUSLY, I AM NOT INTERESTED, THANK YOU! :smt019

- When my bicycle goes out of gear

- Sleeping in the same room with someone who snores loudly

- The fact that cartoon characters aren't real

- Oh yeah, did i mention people who love villains and consider heroes to be Meh and bland

And finally

I was riding along the bike track last night and saw this group of kids coming towards me and i pulled over to let them pass and one of them said "Push a bit harder like you're mum pushed hard last night"!
:x :smt011

I hate people who don't want to work hard and muck about all the time...why do they even exist?

Well, I never "muck about all the time" but I don't see working hard has any benefits unless there is a reward, or some justification for doing it.

Call me lazy, but just working for working's sake won't get you anywhere IMO.

That said, I do think we need to have at least something to do with our time on this planet; if we waste our lives away and die failures, we've not made the most of our lives and that I hate, despise. I feel we need to make the most of the years we have.

I just don't agree with working for no particular cause. Not that that's what I assume you meant, I know what you mean, just, that was a different take on it I suppose.

5. Skyline likes a good party. As long as it's not in a dreaded nightclub. Though Skyline does not condone excessive alcohol, or partying til you drop. YOLO is "carpe diem" for stupid people. SWAG stands for Secretly We Are Gay.

6. Agreed 100% Though I find that I Predict an Earthquake song catchy, even though it's just made up of awful noises D:

Also, LADCulture.

And the fact that people force themselves to go to clubs, even though they don't really like it.
Because that's what normal people do, right, so we totally have to do it.

Nightclubs themselves. SCARY PLACES! :-D
