Exams!

Seriously, take me (and probably loads of others) back to 2002 when I had no worries at all!

Think my biggest worry is 2002 was the tormenting idea that my 'new year' school teacher would be one who was prone to shouting at the kids.

We did get her as well, but we were fairly fortuitous that she took about 5 months off for maternity leave, but still. She wasn't the nicest of people it has to be said. Constantly stressed out and over-reacting to any slight misdemeaner.

But was this my somewhat timid 8/9 year old mind conjuring up these feelings ? I thought it may well be, but these thoughts were quashed a few years back, when returning to the my old school for work experience. She was a right moody cow then. All I can say is thank goodness for the 5 month respite !

... so, to keep this to topic, I've always been irritated by irritable teachers :D

I have to agree.

Take me back to 2002? Hmm. I'm not sure. I was a constantly depressed seven year old with no friends and no real life.

I remember I cried once because my dad wouldn't (no, couldn't afford to) buy us an ancient old lawnmower, one of the manual ones that cuts as you push it, no electricity, which was going to take pride of place in my back garden. It was £5.

Take into account that he'd already bought me a few tins of old coins, some windscreen wipers...

So yeah, keeping on topic, I too am irritated by teachers...especially those who won't see the funny side of something you're doing.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Dear Allah, now it's personal! :-D

Er....ah! I have an addition to my list.

People/shops constantly playing Christmas music (always the same songs) from the 1st day of December onwards. I mean come on, it's not anywhere near Christmas yet...

I was like 5/6 in 2002, so there was definitely no worries for me!

Teachers can be irritating, but people who just want to muck about and not work at all can be just as bad.

Come on, BankerSpanker! The Easter chcolate season is one of the best ways to binge on chocolates. As I am a heavy chocaholic (much better than alcohol), it's one of the happiest times of the year. Especially Milkybar Mini Eggs, Smarties Mini Eggs... and most deliciously, the original Mini Eggs.

I'd be happy if Easter Eggs were on sale all year.

I agree with BankerSpanker...I don’t like these things being advertised literally years before they actually happen. ...and chocolate itself is over-rated.

...he says, bingeing on a large Galaxy bar at his desk...

Off topic, Brony, off topic :smt011

I must add - no offence Brony - Bronies to my list of irritations. That's not at you personally, by the way, as I'm sure you're great company in other settings and scenarios; just a general comment.

:)
