I'm not sure how I managed to do it in as little as 3.16 seconds. I averaged out at about 4 - 4.5s when I tried it, but 3.16 was my best.

I just tried typing the alphabet with my hands raised a few inches above the keyboard, and it takes forever doing it like that... actually I didn't manage it at all using that method.

Edit: Now 6.76 secs typing with just my left hand.

I will have to try that when i'm on the pc. But have you ever tried doing the alphabet BACKWARDS while balancing a stick on your finger? Believe it or not, 10years ago in my first year at uni, that task formed part of my psychology lab classes. I was pretty good at it then, at the age of 18! Wouldn't fancy trying it now though!

Apoliogies, i should've mentioned it was RECITING the alphabet, not typing while holding a stick at the same time! That would've been a wonder to behold. Apparently this task was designed to clarify the workings of the two hemispheres of the brain. That it did.
And anyway, david, what are we doing at this time of the night sitting on the internet!
