Well that's obviously because tea tastes horrible, you should drink coffee instead... :-D

I tried tea with sugar for the first time in years today. Didn't taste right at all...

I haven't had sugar in my tea in years - always either been plain or with sweetener

Just had one now, gorgeous!

Yours still ends up sweet because of the biscuits you usually dunk in them!

Time to bring this back methinks. Only now I made myself a cuppa with what is now the usual two teaspoons. Why I ever had two tablespoons in my drink I'll never know. My perfect cup of tea? Made in a nice simple white mug, kettle boiled, two teabags in cup, pour water in cup, let teabags "brew" for about 10 seconds before squeezing the living daylights out of them, throw away teabags, add a splash of milk and the sugar aswell. And stir with a spoon.
And grab whatever "accompaniment" happens to be near - perhaps a slice of bread, or a ginger biscuit, or maybe a cat or two - to dip in the tea and eat whilst drinking it. I do find the latter of those three, however, does have quite a...varied...different, taste. Definitely distinguishable from the other two.

NO MAUDY.

On the subject of tea, I've just made myself another one and it's.....absolutely disgusting, actually. Not enough sugar, the milk is a bit off...the cup is American..

Oh oh oh!

Everyone! Guess what I'm drinking? (And don't start going on about alcohol, okay!)

I wonder how Dans tea would be with a Yiddish cup.

Mines in a Christmas mug with a wee Santa on it. My usual mug is an I :smt049 NY one.
