After an intriguing contest with Archie, the Banker wants BEN to be beaten! But "I want" doesn't get in this battle of luck and judgment...

...which once again will be shaped by The Configurator. Player power, Banker power, offer pattern, and money menu are all there to be selected with numbers 1-4 in game 44 of Series 4...

Glad if the Banker is deciding it's on THAT Box 23!

Well, it looks like Box 25 might be out of the equation barring a conditional, with the Banker controlling it and the +£5,000/+£3,000/+£1,000/-£2,000/-£4,000 menu!

The offer pattern is 6-5-4-3-2-1-1 and the one other wrinkle will be the wheel at the end of the game, with its 50% chance of a prize and a 50% chance of a percentage uplift to your cash!

Board's standard:

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

And with Box 16 at the table we'll go up the odds and see you on the other side for the 18-box offer. GAME ON!

Of course, we skip 9, and that's just fine...

Box 1 - £150,000! Inauspicious to say the least.

Box 3 - £75,000! Yikes...

Box 5 - £15,000 is more important than we'd like already!

Box 7 - £1! Well there's one blue.

Box 11 - £25, another one!

Box 13 - £250! Balancing the colours if not necessarily the board...

Oddly enough a regular UK board, albeit at 18-box rather than 17-box. And the next offer will be at 13-box rather than 14-box!

At least now I can accurately use Harvey's Stat Generator on my phone!

NO DEAL to the offer, as I'm aiming big today, and let's continue with 15, 17, 21, 23 and 25, please.

Could that £25 have been low-key transformative for you? ;)

Box 15 - £50,000! Oof...

Box 17 - £750! More like it.

Box 21 - 50p! And now you have more reds than blues!

Box 23 - £20,000 undoes that and is yet another valuable backup gone... there's only 24 boxes in this so you're onto the evens assuming 9 and 19 are staying, 24 first?

NICE, an above Fair Deal offer factoring in the condition. :smt023

It's going to take an offer above a certain other, much higher, benchmark for me to stop at this stage, though. ;) :eyes:

NO DEAL, and let's continue with 22, 20, 18 and 14, please.

The gauntlet has been raised, but it's on a board which could crash very quickly!

The Banker is definitely hoping that's exactly what happens... but will it?

Box 22 - £10,000 increases the volatility that little bit more...

Box 20 - £3,000 is the first four-figure red to go, and now we want blues!

Box 18 - £5,000! Now the colour balance reflects the danger, but the danger is also growing for him... if this isn't all-red, it's very alright!

Box 14 -
£5! How good does that blue feel?!?

It's only the third offer, but it's 9-box and on the kind of configuration where both sides HAVE to be taking the danger seriously.

1p
10p
£10
£100
£500

£1,000
£35,000
£100,000
£250,000

Everything above the grand can go in a single round... but if it goes against him, it goes VERY against him.

BANKER'S OFFER

£17,000

Turn this down, and someone could be feeling awfully sad about it. Could be you, could be him! It's that dramatically poised. He reminds you that if you win a blue, you can't be bailed out by 25 this time and that half of the wheel will work a lot better with £17,000 than it will with £500 or less...

...Deal or No Deal?

VERY tricky board to play, but with the odds of finding both of the Top 2 only being 9% I think the risk is small enough to go on and try for the mega money.

NO DEAL, and let's continue with 12, 10 and 8, please.

The wheel definitely adds to the potential upside for making this work... and the lack of 25 on a blue win adds to the importance of doing so.

Here is that pivotal trio.

Box 12 -
£1,000 IS THE LAST SAFE RED! What a weird run!

Box 10 -
£500! That 9% chance you mentioned is swerved, and now you're one away from the most delightful of rounds...

Box 8 -
£10! AND THERE IT IS!

Well, a short time ago the Banker was excited by the crash possibilities... they have been dashed.

1p
10p
£100

£35,000
£100,000
£250,000

Two to open, then two one-box rounds.

Or you can just get out now with this.

BANKER'S OFFER

£30,000

Thirty grand. On a board that still has 1p and 10p weighing it down and can only be salvaged from there with a prize spin.

But you know why he's even considered offering that much, and it's the threat that you could still be in position to unleash upon him.

Deal... or No Deal?

Another very good offer, being roughly £1,500 above the Fair Deal. I can't destroy the board in a single round, though, and anything short of the 1 in 15 disaster round should still see a five offer at the end of it, so I think this is worth declining with only 2 boxes to open.

NO DEAL, 6 and 2, please.
