It's been a confusing Christmas to end a confusing year, so we thought we'd provide some confusion in the best possible way with the 2020 Christmas Crossover!

Myself, Archie, and Aaron all hosted a game for each other over Skype - six games total. All of these were played under a rule set that combined twists from all three of our series and beyond - what we called "Unified Rules".

From the Aaron series, we threw in the board-bending chaos of Twelve-Shift and the time-bending chaos of the Replay.
From the Archie series, we added the regular spin of the Deal Wheel and the endgame option of the Bonus Box on a £35k win (this threshold can be removed on one of the wheels).
From this KP series, we tossed in the opening damage of Double 99 (applied before the shifts) and a modified version of the Booster Bids where both predictions were for a Win Boost.

And on top of that we added Kall's 23 with its agonising QUADRUPLE/DOUBLE/+£20,000/MONEY BACK/HALF/QUARTER/NOTHING money menu.

Over the next few days, you'll see how all six of these games played out with these Unified Rules. Game 1 saw ARCHIE play against the KP Banker, leaving Aaron to bring you this recap...

... and we kick off your 2021 with the first game of this sextet of shenanigans, which saw KP hosting for Archie!

Before each game gets underway properly, there's a Double 99, six shifts and a wheel spin, in that order.

Getting a kicking down is £3,000 and £100,000 to £30 and £1,000 respectively, and as you may have clocked, that already has hefty shift implications...

... the first six of which, are as follows:

£50 becomes 1p
1p (the original one) becomes NOTHING
£5 becomes £4 and drops a shift category, annoyingly...

£10 lifts up to £69...
£1,000 (again, the original one) becomes £16,666 and improves one shift category...
£500 becomes... £66,666! A wonderful uplift to complete "a very even early shift process" sates KP!

Box 3 is on the table, and we're playing with this board:

    NOTHING
    1p
    10p
    50p
    £1
    £4
    £30
    £69
    £100
    £250
    £750

    £1,000
    £5,000
    £10,000
    £15,000
    £16,666
    £20,000
    £35,000
    £50,000
    £66,666
    £75,000
    £250,000

And we're off!

Spin 1... is almost negligible - TINY PRIZE! That'll come later.

Box 7 - £1,000 "which started as the hundred thousand!"
Box 15 - NOTHING! "It does not get bluer than that!"
Box 22 - £250,000! "Of course, it's a Christmas Crossover game!" cries Archie. KP reminds him of the existence of the replay.
Box 12 - £15,000
Box 4 - £100!

Archie's bolstered by the power of Twelve Shift and refuses to replay here, meaning we're going straight on to Shift #7...

... and it moves 50p to 2p. Changes nothing, really! "The Banker will be looking to coin it at the end of this game!" The punguin strikes again!

No prediction from Archie here, and his first ticket out of here is...

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,321

A quick and easy NO DEAL from Archie, and we almost forget the Deal Wheel... will Archie wish we did?

+£10,000 TO BOX 23 JACKPOT taking the additive to +£30,000! He'll be glad we didn't!

Box 18 - £69! "Any way up!"
Box 2 - £50,000! "One of the big three shifters..."
Box 19 - £30! "That is your orange and your fake red gone!"

Archie, unsurprisingly, keeps his replay.

Box 8 - £250! We're still looking for 1p, 2p, 10p, a pound...
Box 11 - £66,666! "The beefed up blue could bring a replay for you! This is where the danger lies and that's why he deflated the offer!"
Box 1 - £75,000! Marilyn, yet again, failed to deliver.

As the clock strikes eleven, Archie deploys his REPLAY.

Archie seems very much unshifted from his 14-box position, and now he's bolstered by a £3,000 Cash in Hand spin, it's another NO DEAL!

His Tiny Prize is revealed to be a 1kg of Carrots from Waitrose and Partners! "Well I love Waitrose and I love Carrots!"

There has to be a prediction here, his first failed...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£7,250

... will this?

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,890

No, that's good for a 1.9% Win Boost! "What a boost... NO DEAL" was the immediate response from Archie! Four amounts over £16k now, what can he make of it?

Round 5, Wheel 5... TINY + MINI + MAXI PRIZES! "You're doing all your best work on the wheel tonight, there's worse places to do it!"

BANKER'S OFFER

£5,678 + 10% of 2-box average

... which would be the 2-box average after the Twelfth Shift, too! Archie asks Aaron for advice, he says that he doesn't think the offer is as strong as it should be for somebody with that much in prizes and cash already tied up. KP states that the Banker says it could've been an oversight on the Banker's part! It's NO DEAL for the time being! "I wonder if perhaps the Banker misread the situation because it's so much less scary than he thought. It might become a lot scarier than it is now though..."

"It's been spun, spun, spun, spin to death!" says Archie as the excitement starts to kick in...
