After a record-breaking win for Dan in the last game, we have someone who might well be eyeing up topping even that - KALL!

Time for the usual 1-4 for the Configurator draw for each of player power, Banker power, offer pattern, and money menu...

So the Banker gets to look in two boxes on the wings - you'll know one of the ones he looked at - but you get a spin of the wheel, after a Box 25 you control! We also get quickly to the business end with a 6-5-4-3-2-1-1 offer pattern, the third offer is at 9-box!

Board is as usual...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

...but we've got to sort out that money menu before we begin!

And your first decision:

ADD HALF/-£2,000
+£5,000/QUARTER

Do you want that first one that plays better at high stakes, or the bailout potential of the second to help free you up to play for high stakes to begin with?

Hopefully we'll have enough money to play for that this is actually true!

Now here's a contrast...

QUADRUPLE/20%/NOTHING
ADD HALF/MONEY BACK/63%

One of those gives you a LOT more upside... one of them would leave you with almost no downside if the game broke well. Remember, you do have a wheel after 25, which has a 50% chance of a prize and a 50% chance of increasing your cash total...

And that leaves you with a very solid 25:

ADD HALF
ADD HALF

MONEY BACK
-£2,000
63%

Ironically after that display of defensive play you have Box 4 on the table :P Six to start and then the first offer comes... GAME ON!

It's the best way to open a game ;)

Box 1 - £150,000! That isn't!

Box 2 - £750 is more like it...

Box 3 - 10p! Lovely.

Box 5 - £1,000 also works... we've seen a few opening rounds with one big hit right at the start then nothing but low numbers...

Box 6 - £35,000! This isn't one of them :(

Box 7 - £100,000! Goodness me that's damaging.

The Banker rings up to say his peekaboo powers were used on Box 24 and one other. He says that he'd have felt better about that opening round if he'd not looked!

1p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500

£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000
£250,000

So despite the damage...

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,000

...he's still offering seven grand to start. Five to open if you decline it. Deal or No Deal?

It'll be interesting to see if he's telling the truth, and what it might mean if you're so sure he isn't!

Box 8 - 50p is good news for you either way!

Box 9 - £5 is too! Lots of damage top left now.

Box 10 - 1p!! LOTS of damage top left, my goodness...

Box 11 - £10,000 quietens things down...

Box 12 - £10! What a round!

On and on and up we go! Hopefully with the offers too...

Box 13 - £50,000! Ooof...

Box 14 - £15,000 and this is starting to get very nervous...

Box 15 - £50 makes it easier...

Box 16 - £25! Truly alive!

I wonder what the Banker's seen. He sounded nervous after seeing it, but he's certainly capable of bluffing, and what a board for decisions this is!

£1
£100
£250
£500

£3,000
£5,000
£20,000
£75,000
£250,000

Three to open, and only three anywhere near the level of this offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

£16,500

The worst outcome on 25 with that would be £10,395, with the wheel to come! And your money menu doesn't work at low stakes... Deal or No Deal?

He seems convinced he's seen big money, based on how worried he was. If you think he's bluffing then that No Deal might not be wise...

Box 17 - £250,000! And there it is, first box :(

Box 18 - £1 means you only have reds and high blues left though...

Box 19 - £5,000... tough to react to!
