The Banker's only given away about £17,000 in cash in the last five games, but game 17 will see PAUL trying to change that!

He overcame a bad combination on The Configurator last time we saw him by basically rendering all its twists irrelevant, but surely he'll hope for a better draw this time as he picks 1-4 for each of player power, Banker power, offer pattern, and money menu...

Let's see if the Banker can make another great save with this combination...

Game #17 configuration
One-derland | Double 99 | Kytlerian | Risk/Reward

That'll give you an offer pattern of 5-5-3-3-2-2-1-1, and an intriguing setup on 25 with TRIPLE/DOUBLE/HALF/QUARTER/NOTHING - we've seen the Banker throw a bunch of conditional offers with that setup before!

That's it for gameplay changes not related to the board, but the board is almost all change. Every 0 becomes a 1, but 99% is taken off two of the reds, in this case £3,111 and £35,111 which is about as good a draw as you could've had for that!

All of which leads to THIS board:

1p
11p
51p
£1
£5
£11
£25
£51
£111
£251
£511
£751

£1,111
£31.11
£5,111
£11,111
£15,111
£21,111
£351.11
£51,111
£75,111
£111,111
£151,111
£251,111

Box 10 is yours, five to open before the first offer... GAME ON!

And six more on the outside of these five boxes!

Box 1 - £11! Nice 1. ;)

Box 11 - 11p! How very fitting!

Box 13 - £51! Flying out of the traps here...

Box 15 - 51p! What an opening round THIS would be if all-blue...

Box 17 - £1,111 is only technically red as well! What a start!

The Banker paid out £35,000 when this One-derland / Double 99 combo came up last, and was lucky to only pay out that much because the augmented dream finish happened.

"Oh no, we're at it again" is what he said after that round!

With an all-blue he'd have offered £11,000. As it is...

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,532

...he's gone just short of that with a football reference. ;) Five in this round too if you decline it... Deal or No Deal?

That Start was straight in the back of the net!

The answer is also a tap-in

NO DEAL.

5 in this round! Alongside 2,3,8 and 20.

I see what you did there ;)

Box 5 - £21,111. First meaningful attack on the right hand side.

Box 2 - £11,111... chipping away, no real penetration yet though...

Box 3 - 1p! And smashed back on the counter!

Box 8 - £751 is setting this up to be another brilliant round...

Box 20 - £251! Result!

What is with this twist combination? The Banker will be scared of it every time until it doesn't produce games like this!

We're only at 14-box and this is your offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

It's definitely a striking sum for this stage, but that's a board that tempts you to pass and move on... Deal or No Deal?

Goodness me!

I do have to think twice, even at the 2nd offer. However if Wolves have another European tour, I’m gonna need every penny.

No deal!

4, 19 and 24 please.

And just like the Premier League on its resumption, it's all about the top five!

Box 4 - £351.11! THE DISGUISED BLUE!

Box 19 - £5! This is absolutely extraordinary...

Box 24 -
£251,111!!

There was always going to be a big hit at some point... but it didn't have to be that.

OK it's by £18 but still, he went up! Three to open again, a block of four that still powers your game... Deal or No Deal?

And three to open!

Let's make that stick.

Box 6 - £111,111! The Banker might be well and truly back in this now...

Box 7 - £31.11! But that's the other fake red gone! Now, a blue here...

Box 23 -
£75,111! And this is quite a different game now.

£1
£25
£111
£511

£5,111
£15,111
£51,111
£151,111

The good news is you only have two to open, so you'd be very unlucky to lose both, but the Banker thinks you will hit one...

BANKER'S OFFER

£13,421

Just over four grand down on the last offer, but you're two boxes away from needing to chase to the end just for an outside shot of getting back to this territory... Deal or No Deal?

This game appears to have a narrative of at least one ‘leap of faith’ needing to be made.

Either now, or by buying 25.

I might still buy 25, but I’m prepared for that leap now.

No deal.

Well we're not leaping out of the game at 8-box!

We're leaping once more into the unknown...

Box 9 -
£151,111!!

Top four gone in the space of five boxes.

Box 14 -
£511 means it's not done yet...

The Banker says seeing the blue and red on the board made him cling to the possibility he'd come back like Palace against Liverpool a few years ago!

£1
£25
£111

£5,111
£15,111
£51,111

This, he says, is your chance to get the best possible view of the season ahead...

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,231 + SONY 85" 4K TV

That Absolute Unit of a 4K TV is £2,499 courtesy of John Lewis & Partners, and obviously wouldn't be subject to a Box 25 decision. The £4,231 would.

Still two to open... Deal or No Deal?
