New decade, new British geopolitical status, new KP series. A 2020 vision for DoND innovation starts here with STEPHEN!

You can read up on the full rules here, but the first thing to note now is that we open the game with The Configurator to determine the game's player power, Banker power, offer pattern, and money menu. I need a number 1-4 for each, which can differ for each or not - your call!

Well that "threes" up your game to play out like this...

Game #1 configuration
Spin The Wheel | No All-Blues | Kytlerian | Risk/Reward

That sounds like it will produce a wheely interesting game.

Those will affect your game like this:

  • At the end of the game, after Box 25, you'll get to spin the wheel to gain a bonus. There's a 50% chance of a prize, and a 50% chance of a percentage increase to your cash total.
  • If you have an all-blue round with three or more boxes in it, one random non-jackpot red will be replaced by the highest of those blues.
  • The offer pattern is 5-5-3-3-2-2-1-1.
  • The Box 25 options are TRIPLE/DOUBLE/HALF/QUARTER/NOTHING.

The board is unaffected, and starts like this:

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

You have Box 19. Five in the first round. GAME ON!

My usual system doesn't work with 24 boxes, so instead we'll go:

22, 1, 4, 7. 10.

Away we go then!

Box 22 - £1,000. An excellent start, especially if we can pile up blues now!

Box 1 - £15,000. Not so bad in isolation, but maybe worse in context of this Banker power?

Box 4 - £100,000! No context needed for that one.

Box 7 - £250! There we go.

Box 10 - £35,000! Uncomfortable start there, especially knowing you're certain to lose three more reds before you get to the really meaty part of the game...

First offer is on this board...

£10
£25
£50
£100
£500
£750

£3,000

£10,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000
£150,000

...and it's this.

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,000

Even with the knowledge it's a while off before I can eliminate just blues, I think there's more life in the old game yet.

No Deal.

Hoping for no whammies, but also exactly one low reddy, I'm going to go for:

13 16 20 23 2 next.

Looking to improve that colour balance as fast as is possible...

Box 13 - £150,000! Yikes... now you really do need blues!

Box 16 - 50p! Lovely.

Box 20 - £10! More of these would be nice...

Box 23 - £1! You sure have improved the colour balance there, even if you preceded it with the wrong red...

Box 2 - 10p! What a brilliant run of boxes that was!

I don't know how long this series will run for but it won't produce many rounds stranger than that one.

1p
£5
£25
£50
£100
£500
£750

£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000
£250,000

How do you evaluate that?

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,500

Positively enough for an early-game offer increase, if nothing else! Three to open in each of the next two rounds... Deal or No Deal?

RING

The Banker has an apology to make - he got so confused by that round he accidentally made an offer based on you only taking out three of those blues! :smt046

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,500

I think the game's just gotten a bit more dangerous for both of us, but the slower pace mitigates that somewhat. I think the offer reflects that, and a bit more fairly than it did before. But, with that in mind, No Deal.

The gameplay and its risks do indeed look quite different from how they did at the first call, in ways that aren't easy to evaluate! We'll see if THIS round provides clarity...

Box 5 - 1p! Well, it provides clarity you won't be winning that! Five of the bottom six in consecutive boxes...

Box 8 - £75,000! And either end of that run had a monster! What a weird game this is...

Box 11 - £10,000. Well that's the first ambiguous box you've taken out in ages!

The story of this game hasn't yet been fully told. But it's got an unusual setting.

£5
£25
£50
£100
£500
£750

£3,000
£5,000
£20,000
£50,000
£250,000

Plenty of mutual danger here as you've said. Is that a recipe for a third-offer, 11-box Deal? If so, it'll be for...

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,500

Three to go again and a guarantee one will be red. Deal or No Deal?

One more round where the Banker's Power applies, meaning one thing between 3k and 50k is guaranteed to go at best but I think if I can survive one round - and I'd consider keeping the 20k and 50k but losing the jackpot surviving - this board becomes actually decent going into 2 boxes.

No Deal

Final round with that power as you say, and what an important one it is...

Box 14 - £3,000! Arguably the perfect start!

Box 17 - £50,000! But now we really do need a blue...

Box 22 -

Went first box! Your eight remaining boxes on the wings are the multiples of 3...

£20,000! My goodness, what a terrifying board this is...

It will be interesting to see how Stephen handles a UK board with the US syndicated endgame, especially one THIS precarious. :eyes:
