We'll see how the calculus looks at 8-box, because we will be there in live play!

Box 9 - £5! Just one amount below £100 here, which is definitely useful...

Box 14 - £250! ABR?

Box 19 -
£10,000. No, but that is nowhere near as bad as the other two were good!

At 8-box, we've got an interesting configuration.

£1
£100
£500
£750

£3,000
£5,000
£50,000
£130,000

Only one prediction left, and you have to hit it to get any sort of Box 23 upside value. Are you using it now?

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,000

The prediction would still be valid in proveout, by the way. Deal or No Deal?

Based on the offer and board state, I think it's safe to go one more round. NO DEAL.

5, 12 and 17, please.

The calculation came in, and the dice are now being rolled. Three boxes to survive, a big reward if you keep the top two, a £5,000 ceiling and a big punishment if you hit both, and if it's a one-box game... who knows?

Box 5 -
£100! One away from a £500 floor!

Box 12 -
£1! AND THERE IT IS! And you can't take both of the big numbers out before the call, of course...

Box 17 -
£5,000! They both survive! What a round!

How much better does this look?

£500
£750

£3,000
£50,000
£130,000

Still one prediction to use. You could really complete the glorious round by getting it inside 10% here!

BANKER'S OFFER

£23,000

AAGH! Missing out narrowly on the 10% prediction band :(

With that no-upside 23 being locked in, you can now have an alternate offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

£63,000 ON 23

You can take that, the fixed £23,000, or neither. Deal or No Deal?

I would take the 63k, but the compulsory no-upside 23 turns me off right away. The 23k sounds more appealing... Gosh, as much as I hate doing it, because I said I was taking a calculated risk, NO DEAL.

18, 20 and 22, please.

Well, with two HUGE amounts and a £500 floor, it's easy to see why you would take that risk!

Box 18 -
£3,000! The one red we DID want to see. Now, it's all about the colour balance.

Box 20 -
£50,000! Either it's the nightmare round... or the Banker is going to be facing one heck of a finish.

Box 22 -
£500! IT'S ANOTHER EPIC FINISH IN LIVE PLAY! £750 plays £130,000... what a run of late-game drama we've had to start Series 3.2!

There are two offers again. One of them gives you a guaranteed life-changing sum, in fact more than anyone other than Ben has won against this Banker.

BANKER'S OFFER

£44,000

The other gives you a 2/3 chance of breaking the mythical £50,000 mark, and a 1/3 chance of the first six-figure win this series has seen... and you can't leave totally empty-handed on it.

BANKER'S OFFER

£110,000 ON COMPULSORY 23 + 77" LG OLED TV

On that menu, it's £110,000, £55,000, or nothing. But regardless of the outcome, you'd also get a colossal 4K OLED TV worth £4,999 courtesy of John Lewis & Partners.

Or you can play on and get either £750 or £130,000.

To two of the most dramatic offers ever... Deal or No Deal?

DEAL the £44,000, HUNTER!!!!!

Declining this would DEFINITELY cross the line between calculated risk taking and being a glory Hunter!

AND THERE IT IS!

Hunter was the biggest regular-game winner of Series 3.1 with £35,000, and he's topped that by another nine grand here!

£44,000 is yours, but now we need to see which - if any - of the alternative risks available to you would have been rewarded.

The box, first. Either you had £130,000 and dodged the £750, or vice versa. In Box 2...

£750! WHEW! Box 13 had the £130,000, great choice to keep that one to the end!

So clearly, barring a swap, you were right to Deal.

But what if you'd taken the other offer? You'd have paired the monster TV with one of these sums of money...

MONEY BACK (£110,000)
HALF (£55,000)
NOTHING

1-3 to see which it'd have been.

If you HAD taken the other Deal, you'd have either had no money or record-breaking money... but which?

There were 3 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

NOTHING
HALF (£55,000)
MONEY BACK (£110,000)

Well, better to have lost £11,000 than to have lost it all, am I right?
