The studio is the same. The rules of engagement are the same, with a £370,000 jackpot.

Something is very different, though.

Because this is game 4 of the April Fools Series 2018, and so DAVID is trading places and facing up to playing the game he created!

Someone will need to host... and that someone is BEN!

Let's see how KP fares when the tables are turned on him. The top win so far in the series is just £50,000, so he may very well prove to be the boss of his own series in more ways than one. ;)

And today's KP inspired twist will be.................

IT'S YOUR GAME

Well this will be fun to both host and Bank. :D

Your first decision....

£16,200 / £111,000
£12 / £196,000

Right away some big money is being added to the board. :)

A fairly straightforward decision here for a glory Hunter, but how will you play this?

That is a huge decision.

I think I'll go £12 / £196,000 simply because I have plenty of other opportunities to stabilise if I so wish.

Alrighty then.

£32,950 / £72,000
£49,250 / £50,750

Is the extra bit of money on the board worth the slightly increased variance? That's up to you to decide.

It's close, but they're both stabilising pairs, so I'll take the £32,950 / £72,000 combo.

Still opting for more money on the board over decreased volatility. Will that still be the case with this pair?

** RING **

The Banker just realized he made a mistake and forgot to change the pair amount you're playing for, meaning the previous pick is void and this will be your second selection:

£19,500 / £20,500
£4,650 / £43,000

Classic. :P I should have recognised that myself, to be fair...

Stabilisation here with £19,500 / £20,500.

To my defense, I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around your complex spreadsheet. :P

£6 / £141,500
£34,500 / £46,000

Once again the opportunity arises to add a six figure red to the board, but at the cost of also adding another low blue. Which will it be?

That's easily the toughest call so far. I'd probably take £40k on that extreme final pair, so £34,500 / £46,000 it is.

Next decision....

£4,000 / £17,200
£7,200 / £13,000

And finally......

£1,025 / £90,000
£240 / £93,500

Not a lot in this decision, but which pairing would you prefer?

£240 / £93,500 because let's be honest, if I've got to rely on that £1,025, my game's probably beeped anyway. :smt046

Menu A: average 1.11x my stake - £1k. I want to like that one more than I do.
Menu B: average 0.69x my stake + £3k. I want to like that one less than I do. ;)
Menu C: average 0.76x my stake + £3k but only one shot at redemption in the crash scenario. And I think that's what I'd want that for over Menu A.

I'm going to go for MENU B because it's there if I need it.

AND THAT'S YOUR GAME!

Box 14 is on the table, so choose your first 5 boxes and we'll get the game underway.

After how much time all this confusion consumed thus far, I can assure you there will be no joke rounds in this game. ;)

8- £50

2- £12

You're biggest pre-game decision has already been validated :)

4- £250

6- £46,000

10- £19,500

** RING **

The Banker says he's ready to play, and while he respects your offer formula he's NOT rigidly sticking to it.

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,149.58

If you can guess why the Banker has offered that within the next 5 minutes, he said he'll add £2,000 to the next offer. ;)

Deal or No Deal?
