Onwards!

Box 18 - £104,500! Well, down goes the top prize. But the next time you hit the biggest value in the game, that won't be the case!

Box 16 - £100! Squeezing at both ends...

Box 14 - £75,000! Ouch... if it helps, that was the one that started as the £100,000!

This would have been a fairly ugly game without the Purpliser... but we're not playing without the Purpliser. ;)

1p
50p
£46,505
£25,010
£500

£10,000
£15,000
£75,000

The Banker admits he probably went too far at the last offer, but that it worked for him, so he can hardly complain. ;)

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,441 + 25

OR

BANKER'S OFFER

£16,661 FIXED

A pair of palindromic offers for your perusal... Deal or No Deal?

With the average now being just over £21,000 both of those offers are quite tempting, but the board is still stable enough that the offer(s) will only crash through the floor if I'm extremely unlucky and hit the 5.5% chance of finding both of the top 2 and another five figure amount, so I think this is still worth at least one more round.

NO DEAL, and let's go with 12, 10 and 8, please.

Happy enough with the depth of fallback... here we go...

Box 12 - £10,000, that's one of the five-figure amounts...

Box 10 - £500! But that very much isn't one of the top two! 1p and 50p still loom large but everything else on the board is £15,000 or higher... what a strange scenario this is!

Box 8 -

£75,000! Well, there goes the ceiling, but you've still got three sizable amounts up there, and that Purpliser really saved you...

1p
50p
£46,505
£25,010

£15,000

The Banker wants to point out what he'd have done if this board wasn't Purplised...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£2,112 + 25

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£4,224 FIXED

But, of course, it is.

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,321 + 25

OR

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,741 FIXED

You can take one of those, or you can play on...

The last time I played with this format the Top 2 amounts at 5 box were purplised blues as well!

It just goes to show how important stability is and why I'm so insistent on the "boring" maximum stability strategy with this format.

With that being said, I'm not especially keen on the Box 23 I produced, so with it being 85% of the average and both of the remaining blues being so low I'll sensibly DEAL the £14,741. :smt023

6, 2 and 4, please.

You've certainly had games that justify your strategy! £14,741 is yours... what would you have had at the end?

Box 6 - £46,505! Magnificent.

Box 2 - £25,010! Astonishing.

Box 4 - 50p, so at least you'd have had £15,000 to play for, but with 1p alongside it...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£5,995 + 25

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£7,557 FIXED

Box 21... had...

1p! The landmine was right in front of you and you defused it! Box 19 had £15,000...

So, if you'd taken the other 5-box Deal...

BOX 25 MONEY MENU
14% (£1,724.94)
64% (£7,885.44)
114% (£14,045.94)
164% (£20,206.44)
214% (£26,366.94)
-£6,000 (£6,321)
ADD CAR (£12,321 + Renault Zoe)

Hypothetical option time...

Fair enough. :)

Sadly the game just wouldn't take off with the 2nd to 5th offers all being in the low to mid teens range and the board being squeezed at the high end, but not every game can be a mega-money game.
