The Banker wants to give you an option to use your Box 23 to your advantage...

One of those options would take you all the way down to £5,000 but the other blues will keep above £44k, and the reds of course will be £77,000...

With the fixed £5k at THOSE stakes I'm not touching 23, so I'd probably just take the flat £145k here? Risking only a third of it for a 1/7 chance at taking the winnings to nearly £400k isn't not tempting, though. That was my first instinct, and I don't blame you for going with it yourself! Great game!
