I'm pretty sure KP is shadow dealing this, then.

Would definitely have missed that on the low side.

It feels like it's legitimately dealable but I definitely don't want to take it, and while the Shadow Deal is clearly set up for this kind of situation I don't trust myself to hit a second prediction on this board...

COUNTER:
* Shadow Deal: £13,370 as DEAL, HALF BOX VALUE as NO DEAL.
* £12,345.67 fixed in addition to the value of the Shadow Deal.

The Banker is probably declining that. I know my Banker would, as the whole point of a shadow Deal is to have some of the benefits AND risks of No Dealing.

** RING **

The Banker says it took him quite a long while for him to get his head around what you were asking for there, but he feels there's too much upside potential with that Shadow Deal with such a high floor, especially on a board as volatile as this - NO DEAL!

He's forcing you on. Make him regret it. Three boxes.

Fair enough! Don't ask, don't get, and nothing like getting the cogs turning... 13, 15, 19.

Three boxes that are four figures or less and this will be magnificent...

13 - £1,500 is your first...

15 - £20 is your second...

19 -
£30,000! That's not awful here, and you're well in it still!

BT...

I'd predict £31,600 here.

The Banker knows for a fact you'll at the very least Shadow Deal this, and you certainly won't take any more than this from this game!

He seems very certain, but how certain are you? Do you want to make that last prediction now?

Ben's suggested £31,500 sets up a £35k ceiling.

I think he might just about be able to go higher than that given how anxious he now has to be about £500k on the table, but more to the point I think he might do so by way of a non-round offer (like the £35,853 I once offered to Ben himself on my series).

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£32,444

Covers £29.5k, covers £36k.

Feels like a nice range... I hope you've got this...

BANKER'S OFFER

£35,179

... and you got it exactly right, well played! DEAL, NO DEAL and two positive envelopes now sends your Shadow Deal to its biggest power... but is now the time for it, as the Banker thinks?

That offer would see an ACB-shaped Hole in the Wall on the shadowed side of the studio, and I'm sure it's about to produce a KP-shaped Hole there as well. :D :P

Alrighty! £35,179 might be yours! But now we have to hope for a better and better proveout. My word, if you have the half-million on the table in Box 17, this will be quite something...

11 - £20,000

7 - £1

9 - £500,000! Well it's gone...

2p
£200
£1,000

£6,000
£40,000

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£5,139

And the final round?

5 - £40,000! Well that's annoying...

3 - £6,000 actually puts even more jeopardy on your Shadow Deal now...

1 - 2p but at least it won't be that!

£200 vs £1,000

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£579

And to confirm, because it is of relevance here, whether you'd have swapped for 17 or not?

17's on the table, and it has £200 in it. £1,000 was in the Wakey box!

Shadow Deal time...
