The temptation of playing one case at a time gives you the power to deny twelve grand... was it a good decision?

Case 17: $100,000 :x :x
It appears not... The CAR is now our top prize, assuming we don't lose that too.

Case 18: $10
It's a recovery, but nothing compared to dropping our last green :(

Walter's laughing, he finds this state of affairs much nicer! He's looking at the blue side of the board for you, and with the car to play for he's offering:

BANKER'S OFFER

$4,550

I suppose that's a recognition that we're now one case at a time, at least. Deal or No Deal?

That's pretty nice, especially if you compare it with my last win... Hmm... Let's see where we are in one case time. NO DEAL... :eyes:

Case 3, please.

Pressing upwards once again... These one-case rounds are almost always what makes or breaks the game. Walter's valuation of Case 5 now stands at:

BANKER'S OFFER

$7,100

Given you've got the $15k as backup for the CAR (a 2014 Volkswagen Golf 90TSI Comfortline valued at $31,817 - but for the purposes of the game, it's always considered to be thirty grand), Walter calls the offer fair... but what do you say? Deal or No Deal?

The temptation is real now as that suggests we'll be hitting five figures if I can pick off another blue... I probably should, but I'm not. Not yet. NO DEAL...

Let's open Case 22, please.

Case 22...

$15,000 :?
We're still in the game, but that's not going to help...

Walter's saying you've got no chance with that drop, but he does have to respect that the CAR is still up on the board. Still, he sees no reason to be particularly merciful...

BANKER'S OFFER

$5,900

If you go one more and avoid the car, you should be able to rebound from that.
...if you go one more and hit the car, well... sucks to be you?
The decision never gets any easier as the game continues... Deal or No Deal?

I was saying to myself that if it was $6k or higher, I'd deal. I may make it one more round, but I'm not overly confident in that, so I'll DEAL! :smt023

My cases would've been 13 and 25, leaving 24 until the end.

We've had ups and downs, but we're taking the deal!
But was it not a moment too soon, or could we have been driving home a new car in the end? Let's find out.

Case 13: $750
Could have pressed on...

*incoming offer sirens*
No Walter go away you really don't have to gloat

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

$8,300

*sigh*
Is it in 25, at least?

Case 25: CAR *vroom vroom*
Thank god for that!

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

$220

Much better.

So you either had a measly dollar, or a slightly-less-measly-but-still-pretty-measly $500. Which was it in the end?

Case 5:
$500

There we go!
What a mess of a game... you could have had a lot more, but you could just as easily have had a lot less. Let's open Case 24 and call it a night, shall we?

Case 24: $1

And that's how it is! Thankfully you bailed out before you totally lost it all, so let's see the money!
Aaron Brock wins $5,900

Thankyou for playing Australian Deal or No Deal!
