Playing the 9th game of this super-twisted version of Deal is LEAH!

She has been assigned Box 7 at random.

Today's featured ZONK is a MOBILE PHONE:

When you're ready, Leah, please choose your first 5 boxes.

Okay!
Let's get started with boxes 14, 11, 10, 22, and 12.

14- £750

11- £75,000

10- MOBILE PHONE :D

22- 10p

12- £3,000

Board:

1p

£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500

£1,000

£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000

£100,000
£250,000

** RING **

The Banker says he doesn't know what infuriates him more: that the ZONK keeps going early in the game and never comes back into the game from punishments, or that contestants keep forgetting to include a number between 1 and 5 with their predictions.

The Banker says he'll be changing some rules starting with the next game to help with both problems, but for now he will change the current offer to 1p if you forget to include a number between 1 and 5 with your prediction at any time.

However, the Banker also heard that you don't know how to predict offers well. He'll give you a big hunt for this offer alone: that was a great start, and the offer is thus what most people would call chunky money mainly due to the amount of figures in it.

With that in mind, what is your prediction, Leah?

Getting an offer wrecked as penance? I see... noted!
That prediction certainly seems useful. I think I'll trust there's no trickery going on here and lock in:

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£11,000

And I'm always going to take Option 4, so if I forget can you just assume it's 4 instead? :P
But yeah, that was a pretty great round, I'm happy with the start :D Middle P5 is a little bleh, but it's only a minor blip as things stand right now.

The Banker is willing to allow Option 4 to be locked in for every outcome. The opening offer unsurprisingly is:

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,000

You're JUST in the 10% band of £9,000 to £11,000. :D

And here is the outcome:

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

+£10,000
DOUBLE
MINI-GAME
BONUS
OFFER BUTTON
Timestamp: 2016-01-09 02:12:53 UTC, IP: 97.90.160.32

Not only is the BONUS box activated, giving you a free shoot at doubling your total winnings, but you also avoided a BANKRUPT. :D

Just as a reminder, all rewards are lost if you hit a Bankrupt at any time in live play, but dealing locks in any rewards in your possession at the time.

So £10,000 Leah, Deal or No Deal?

Also, please choose your next 3 boxes.

Nice!
The offer certainly isn't a bad one, but there's plenty of room to keep pushing here. NO DEAL, please!
Next boxes: 6, 19, 1.

Please give me your prediction and a number between 1 and 5.

Very nice! Now two up on the red/blue count, which is always nice. Playing the player... this one's gonna suck, I can already tell.

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£14,300

I can see this potentially going as high as £16k, but I don't want to risk losing my £13k coverage for that (given £13k is smack on the Fair Deal). Option 4, of course :P

Now, let's see what the Banker was referring to:

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,444

I guess the Banker was playing on your fondness of the Number 4. Anyway, you're comfortably in the 10% band so you have another reward coming your way. :D

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

DOUBLE
BONUS
MINI-GAME
OFFER BUTTON
+£10,000
Timestamp: 2016-01-09 02:40:25 UTC, IP: 97.90.160.32

The OFFER BUTTON is now active, and you avoided a BRAIN BUSTER! :-D

So, £14,444, Deal or No Deal?

Also, please choose how ever many boxes you wish to open in this round. ;)

Hah, nice! :D
The button was definitely something I was hoping to get hold of. Still, this board is far too strong to bail out now. NO DEAL, thankyou!
It's probably a little too early to think about using the button, so I'll just take a conventional round. Boxes 17, 8, and 3 next, please :)

17- £250,000 :(

8- £35,000 :?

Your Power 5 is quickly being destroyed!

3- £10

Board:

1p

£1
£5

£250
£500

£1,000

£5,000
£10,000
£15,000

£50,000

£100,000

** RING **

The Banker says that despite that terrible round, the presence of the button is boasting this offer by over £2,000!

With that in mind, please make your prediction.

Well, phooey. Luck had to run out sometime :P
Four-digit territory always makes the offers a lot less fun to dance with. :(
Could prove overly optimistic, but...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

$7,700

And Option 4, please.

The Banker said that without the button, he'd be offering £5,000. As is, he's offering you:

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,444

Another correct prediction! :D

And as a result:

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

DOUBLE
BONUS
OFFER BUTTON
MINI-GAME
+£10,000
Timestamp: 2016-01-09 03:01:07 UTC, IP: 97.90.160.32

You get to play a MINI-GAME which could be worth as much as £250,000 if you are extremely lucky. :D

You also avoided the Box 23 jackpot being cut in HALF.

So, with the Offer Button, a Mini-Game and the Bonus Box currently in your possession, £7,444, Deal or No Deal?

Wow, I'm getting lucky here. Of course, 5/11 values right now are equal or higher (or, okay, marginally lower), so I don't really feel like I can justify quitting! I'm a little afraid of hitting bankrupt, but I'll just have to play better. I guess. NO DEAL, please!
(...urgh, my gut is telling me this round is going to suck.)
Boxes 20, 18, and 15 please. Not really going to consider the button until next round.

Let's hope you have a good board at the end of this round to consider the button with!

20- £50,000 :(

18- £1

15- £10,000

Board:

1p
£5
£250
£500

£1,000
£5,000
£15,000
£100,000

** RING **

The Banker says that with so much at stake, he's not giving you any more hints.

Please give me your prediction.

I was expecting worse, so I'll take that. No hints, damn... :P
One-box game makes things tricky, but I can't really see things going down. How about a stick?

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£8,000

The Banker *RINGS*...................

"How about not?!!!"

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,444

The Banker is clearly playing on the fact that you now a lot to lose in bonuses, and wants to ensure you have an opportunity to lose it!

And the consequence:

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

BANKRUPT
BRAIN BUSTER
ZONK
BANKER PEEKS
HALF
Timestamp: 2016-01-09 03:24:15 UTC, IP: 97.90.160.32

You didn't miss out on anything as the BONUS box is already activated, but you probably got the 2nd worst of the punishments. The Banker will be back in a few................

*sigh*
So what, now I'm just going to get forcing offers all game so he gets as many chances as possible to make me hit bankrupt? That's just obnoxious. :(
Hey banker, are we playing Deal or No Deal or "pick a box at random to win some money"?

The Banker says he has nothing to worry about now that he nows what's in all the boxes.

 BANKER'S OFFER

£444

As much of a JOKE as that offer may seem, dealing now can still get you tens of thousands of pounds from the bonuses you picked, but you also have the flexibility of the Offer Button if you go on.

£444, Deal or No Deal? :P

Yeah, but the banker always says that, and then gloats whenever you guess incorrectly whether or not he was being truthful this game. :P
I mean he can't exactly say "damn, you've got the £100k, better tack an extra zero onto my offer" now, can he :P
So yeah, going to ignore the mindgames. 5/8 boxes are higher than the offer. NO DEAL.
1 box at a time now, and PS: I never swap.
Box 13 to start, please.
