I'm a great fan, and today I leared that Louis Wlash and Kate Thornton have been axed for the next serious. :banana:

(Kate Thornton) I've heard there looking for Cat Deely as a new presenter and two new judges, as the age limit for applying is being brought down to 14! :-D

Anyway, what did you think of the last series, who was your favourite? (If you watched)

I dont really want Cat Deely doing it as she is sooo annoying on AI but I honestly cant see who will take over as Kate did do a decent job (cant believe I just said it).

Louis was right to go/be axed/whatever, he was getting on my nerves.

I dont think the age should be lowered to 14 at all, I think Simon has gone mad.

I want a decent judge and host but just cannot see who they will be.

oh and Ray and Leona for me last year.

I could imagine it, Simon Cowell will now be known for wrecking the dreams or kids aswell; but I've always wanted to go on, mabye this is an opportunity for my big break...

I think they got rid of the wrong judge, Sharon's falling for every sob story at the auditions has got beyond a joke now.

I assumed they were trying to get Ant and Dec back to present as they did with Pop Idol - after all, they must get bored when there's a few weeks between the hundreds of other shows they do - but haven't heard their names mentioned.

Ive heard Cat Deeley is tipped for the new host - how predictable and the new Judge according to the Sun today is CHRIS MOYLES I SERIOUSLY hope this does not happen that man a a complete ....... lol

Well... I'm pleased that both Kate and Louis have gone and to make it perfect then Sharon would have gone as well!!!

I've heard a rumour that Vernon Kaye will be presenting.. (anyone but Cat Deeley please!!) and Chris Moyles will be a judge!!! but how true that is is anyones guess....

Lowering the age to 14 is just ridiculous!!

Having four categories and four judges (apparently the 14- 25 year olds will be split into male and female... another rumour!) well I dunno.. can't see it working.. why not split the older category into male and female as well :S

Hmmm me thinks they are running out of ideas and Simon is trying to turn it into American idol!!

So expect Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson to be joining very soon!!! lol

I saw the live tour thing and LOVED it.

He wasn't that good though, which kind of defeats the point of this post...

I also saw James out of Eton Road.

HOT!!!!!!!

But they weren't that good either.

I then saw The MacDonald Bros.

BOO!!!!!!!!!!

And they were the best. Yesh, great...

Agreed.

They were right to axe the pair of them, I reckon. Kate Thornton is about as dry and boring a presenter you're ever likely to see and Louis Walsh, well, he's Louis Walsh, enough said.

I also loathe Sharon Osbourne for many millions of reasons.

Sinitta is one of the new judges, and Randy Jackson likely to be the other one. I like Randy on American Idol, but thought they could get someone more high profiled than Sinitta for the other coveted spot.
