I hope Ruby and Shaun die, and Jake and Johnny make a Den Watts style return

Does the square not know Jake is dead?! It's so unfair, they have to find the body! What if they never do and people just think he's gone abroad, when he's really lying in a ditch somewhere?

Back onto Ruby and Sean, I reckon Pat will come and save the day, she always does

And Bradley is the only male that's remotely good looking in Eastenders now, although I do have a soft spot for Max Branning

Pat has to come and save the day, for two reasons.
1) she's been in the soap for ages and is contractually obliged to have a good story line!
2) she hasn't been in it for ages!!

Another storyline, the thing with Yiolande....this is not a spoiler, but just a prediction.

Does anyone think that the guy she kissed will be the father of Diane?

Who's Diane? If you mean Denise then I think it will be Patrick, I don't like the other man, that hat he wears is awful!

I think LF means Denise as Diane is the actresses name I think, I'm also hoping that Patrick is the father of Denise as it makes for much better future storylines than if it were Aubrey.

That's the one I meant, lol.

OK - so Eastenders recently...

does anyone think that the whole Billy and Honey story line has just been drawn out so much? I can't bare that awful vacant stare she has.

Also, what's the deal with Dawn's new fella? At first I thought he might be dating the doctor as in that episode, the doctor featured in it quite heavily. I have no idea what happens, just speculating.

And that fireworks display would have been much more fun if the rocket had have gone off and smacked Dawn in the face! lol

Billy and Honey are doing my head in. Eastenders have gone a bit boring lately, we want more of the gangsters, bring back Johnny Allen, Dennis Rickman, and Andy Hunter IMO.

And we need more male totty! Bradley is alright looking, and that's it at the moment. Other than Mickey, and Deano, and maybe Max aswell, but somehow that still isn't enough for me

Well old Pauline's out, just managed to watch it all then the powercut happened. Going to be very different without her I guess.

I was a bit disappointed with Pauline actually. When she went to hit Joe she used a plate, what was wrong with the good old frying pan Pauline? Eh? You're losing your touch woman...

I did actually used to watch Eastenders quire regularly over the last three years but I haven't watched it bar the odd episode since around June. I really can't stand many of the new characters.

I went off Eastenders when they had too many depressing storylines, and it wasn't exactly uplifting on Christmas Day with Pauline dying! I prefer Corrie, at least there is some humour there.

Eastenders is the only soap I will watch but have watched it maybe 10 times in the last year, got into it over xmas though.

Can I just say what fantastic acting last night by James Alexandrou and Natalie Cassidy, who play Martin & Sonia.
