I was so glad Darren won last year and I know that Colin was the more consistent dancer, but the reason I voted for Darren was because I thought he was the most impoved dancer and by the end he was as good as Colin if not better.
Whilst Erin was brave last year by dancing with a puppet, I personally think that was her & Colin's downfall & it opened the door for Darren to & Lilia to win.
This year I'm rooting for Lilia again but this time with Matt Dawson. I know he started off very average in the fact he just couldn't quite get the feelings of the dances.. sure his foot work, hipwork etc were good but up until the time Lilia got brought in the acting coach, his face was basically expressionless & he danced without expression.
The turn around in Matt's last 2 performances have been phenomonal. Now he actually feels the dance and that is shown throw his facial expression. He is now I belive is the complete package and is easily able to compete alongside the likes of Luisa, Mark & Emma.
I dunnow whether anyone saw Matt & Lilia's waltz on Saturday but it was so graceful & elegant & Matt put 120% into the dance and the new Matt is just great to see

Len Goodman the judge even gave him a 10 and said it was the best dance of the series and he got 9's from the other 3 including the very hard to please Craig Revel Horwood.
It was also great to see Claire & Brendan (Hammondstar's fave) not be in the last 2 for a change.
I could go on and on and on and on about Strictly & the other contestants but that is for another time.

but I have to admit Mark was by far the better Latin dancer and at least Matt won the celebrity chef programme and he was by far the most improved dancer so well done Matt
