We found out today that our first round goes out on 14th September! Episode 10 so still a bit of a wait.

First episode is Glasgow vs Peterhouse, Cambridge. We met the winners of this one just before we left the hotel to make our way to the studio so they let us know what to expect. From what I heard it's a pretty dramatic one to start the series ;)

They generally throw in a corker on opening Monday. Wasn't there a run of the beaten team in episode 1 making the repechage every year?

Week 2, and, after a delay due to the Gold overrunning, Liverpool got revenge on St Peter's College Oxford for what happened in last series' QFs, beating them 205-130.

I think they should frame that scoreline and hang it up somewhere in the city - St James' Park, even. Winning is a rarity in their neck of the woods these days... :P

Week 4, and in the shock result of the series so far, Manchester rank 4th out of 4 match losers.

1. Glasgow - 155 points
2. St Peter's Oxford - 130 points
3. Kent - 115 points
4. Manchester - 90 points
---------------------------------------------------------
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.

So from now on, after each episode the lowest scoring losers will be eliminated for good.
