Anyone seen this new quiz show? It's based on how fast your heart beats. You start off with 1,000 heartbeats as the title suggests and as you play each round your counter decreases. The higher your BPM is the faster your counter drops.
Wrong answers deduct 25 beats.
If their counter reaches 0 the game is over.

There are 7 rounds: £250, £500, £1,000, £2,500, £5,000, £10,000 & £25,000
No one has managed more than £5,000 yet.

The rounds are as follows:
1. Contrast
Two answers are shown and you pick the correct one for each question shown. Get 7 correct to win.

2a. Re-order
Put a sequence of events in the right order

2b. Unravel
A word is shown in circles. Identify 6 words correctly.

3. Assemble
Choose the correct piece to go in each highlighted space. Complete the picture to win.

4a. Identify
Choose 4 correct answers that link the statement given.

4b. Deduction
7 answers are shown. Pick the one answer that links the statement shown. Get 4 correct statements to win.

5a/b. Keep Up / Pinpoint
A maths based round. Complete all 3 sequences to win.

6. Decipher
Choose from one of the 5 answers that links the statement shown. Get 2 correct to win.

7. Recall
A sequence of letters and numbers are shown. The player needs to memorise the sequence and identify each letter or number to win.

In each round, the player can choose to step off the plate if they are stuck. This will cost 50 beats.

The player decides whether or not to cashout after each round. When they do this they play the Cashout game which involves giving 5 consecutive correct true or false answers.

Can't see anyone getting the £25,000 as to do that you have to be extremely VERY! calm and have a LOW heartbeat rate !

Someone's just won £10,000 on the show... for the first time. Now the final round is known!

It seems EXTREMELY very hard...

Also when the show started and it continued from where it left off yesterday and he was going to go for the numbers round, I immediately said GAME OVER! as he wouldn't have had enough heartbeats for the Cash Out...

Now that round 7 has been shown, I've updated the first post with the details.

Well done to Matt on the £10,000 :smt023

She was unbelievably useless! Matt did incredibly well, and maybe he'd have gone for £25k if he wasn't bloody panicking so much

Even his mistakes might have saved him though, Reveal looks unwinnable by design and even if he used up the 200-odd he did on the previous game he'd have ended up - all else being equal - losing on the El Salvador question...

Yup. Once he got 2 wrong, I just knew it was game over for him straight away :(

Same with the last player, with 68 heartbeats remaining in the Cash Out round.

Probably THE closest Cashout round ever. £5,000 won with just FOUR heartbeats to spare! :smt103

That question from Millionaire about being allowed to drink alcohol in the House of Commons came up AGAIN in this show!

"The Chancellor of the Exchequer is allowed to drink alcohol during announcing the budget. - True or False?"

And yes she got it wrong here too!

Yup. You see a lot of questions come up on different game shows that have been on the others.

Like the one about the first tweet on The Chase, saw that question on Tipping Point!

It's back and noticed one change this time as the last series when a player "stepped off" 50 heartbeats were removed but this time it's DOUBLE!

Also a new round was shown today. It's called Definition. You're given a definition of a word and some of the letters. More letters will be filled in after enough time.

On the plus side, the heartbeats no longer start counting down in some games whilst the options are being read out (which was a flaw that most people thought needed correcting)

Which makes stepping off completely stupid in pretty much every game except Unravel as you'd be MUCH better off guessing.

Ditto.

If if was changed to 1500 / 2000 heartbeats then maybe.

669 heartbeats left at round 6!

Cashing out at £10,000

Could've won the £25,000 today :(

I don't blame them for cashing out, especially as you're pretty much screwed if you can't fully remember the sequence in the first go regardless of how many heartbeats you have left. In fact, I'd probably never go for the £25,000 regardless of the circumstances in this game.
