Bit of a different topic here

Have there been any moments in TV Shows, movies, books etc. or songs that make you cry?

I honestly shed a tear once whilst watching the Baby Ellie scene in Ice Age 2, it was just so cute

Also this song from the Pokemon Anime from around 1999/2000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmvWPiV37BM had my waterworks going a bit, it's so heartwarming

It can be tears of depression after watching a tragedy unfold like a character death, tears of joy seeing a really heartwarming moment or even tears of nostalgia when you see something that you loved as a kid for the first time in years and it brings back warm memories of your childhood

Don't know if anyone here watches 'The Walking Dead', but literally all major character deaths on that show have been quite the tearjerkers... The death of Dale in series 2, especially.

The Iron Giant was the first big tearjerker for me, I was 7. Sobbed all the way from the Apollo cinema to the Rhyl Sun Centre after watching that one.

Can't really remember if there were any major tearjerkers between Iron Giant in 2001 and a wonderful film called What's Eating Gilbert Grape, which I watched on a free newspaper DVD in 2008. That was a very tear inducing film, especially when the title character loses his temper with his little brother and smacks him.

I also shed one little tear watching an episode of Derek just recently, can't remember exactly what it was but I'm pretty sure it mentioned loved ones passing away and it was portrayed in such a way that actually hit home to me, starkly reminding me that I'd be totally lost if anyone I loved were to tragically pass away.


Phew, I'm not normally this sombre. It feels weird up here !
