'Hello' by Adele. Good song, but SOOOOOO overplayed and it's just a 2015 remake of 'Someone like you', really

I find Adele to be quite overrated to be honest. Music is alright, nothing that special for me.

If I'm being brutally honest, 'Uptown Funk' is another one

About this time last year I really liked, but its been overplayed at such a ridiculous level since then that I now can't stand it (And in fact, some of the lyrics just make me cringe now!)

Charlie Puth - One Call Away

Seriously cannot stand this song. It's just way too boring and repetitive. It also doesn't help that Radio 2 insist on playing it EVERY SINGLE BLEEDIN' DAY!

That's what happens with new / recent songs... give it two / three months then it won't get played every day. Applies to other stations also.

Lukas Graham - 7 Years

Yet more of the same old generic repetitive drivel! I lost count of the number of times he sang "Once I was 7 years old" and to add insult to injury, Radio 2 chose this as the Record of the Week!

Not to mention the nonsense about being 11 and smoking pot and drinking!

And now the song is #1!

Walking on Cars - Speeding Cars

I hate this song for three reasons:
1. The band name is one of the stupidest I have ever come across.
2. The lyrics are repetitive crap. "Heya heya heya heya... heya, heya heya."
3. Radio 2 insists on playing it every bleedin' day!

The Duck Song by Rhianna and Drake( Quack Quack Quack Quack )

That 7 years song really is one of the worst songs of all time.

It's funny because during 2011-2015 I was getting sick of hearing all this EDM stuff with the same recycled beats over and over. Now I'm starting to get tired of all this slow, boring, lowish-tempo pop stuff we have now

I'd much rather listen to the latter. This Ed Sheeran like codwallop is so, so dull. People fall in love in mysterious ways, oh sod off you soppy goat

To be honest, that song that goes - 'ha-da-da, la-da-da- like a dog on a SATURDAY NIGHT ha-da-la hi-de-li something sounding like LIGHT...'

I think is terrible. Take Me To Church, that's it. Half the lyrics these days aren't even audible.

Those two songs that came out recently that say "Work, work, work, work....." over and over again in the chorus

What are they? One's by Rihanna and one's by Fifth Harmony. Rihanna's 'Work' is worse, as she sounds almost inaudible in the chorus, and when she says "Work Work Work Work Work", it sounds like Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home" performed by someone who's just had a stroke!

When I first heard that "Work, work, work" song, I thought it was being sung in a foreign language. The more I hear it, the more I think Rihanna, or whatever her name is, is having a seizure.

The second "Work, work, work" song you're referring to, James, is Work From Home, by Fifth Harmony. It too is complete rubbish.

Meghan Trainor is a stain on the face of music industry, and needs to disappear. Her feeble attempts at music makes my ears bleed.

The local Top 40 stations here in Toronto seem to have these and other completely awful songs on a well-timed loop, as they are played at the same times every day. How formulaic can you get?
