So, Gangnam Style was supposed to be "the biggest hit of 2012", with 1 billion views on YouTube (the most hits on any single video on the website), but only 877,655 sales? Something isn't right here...

Don't forget that the views are for worldwide and Gangnam style took off quite late in the year here and it only spent one week at #1. The data was revealed by Radio 1 on behalf of the Official Charts Company and the sales seem accurate!
