Runner-ups have had more success than the winners for the most part. (Read: Olly, JLS, Rhydian even One Direction who made it to 3rd !).

So I wouldn't worry for Jahmene if he finishes 2nd place. If James wins, he'll be the one fading into obscurity come the new year. (Read: Steve B, Leon J, Joe Mc)

Compared to X-Factor this weekend, the padding in DOND to a 1 hour show seems insignificant.

They could do the whole final in one night without all the pointless VTs.

Bit of a bizarre winners song for James. The original didn't really do well, and it doesn't really suit James. He nailed it though. That last chorus was brilliant.

Both deserving finalists, but I think Jahmene will take it.
