Is anyone else going to watch the new Red Dwarf that starts on Dave next week?

It'll be interesting no matter how good it is, seeing as all the actors will be much older now.

Used to be a big fan and despite being a very young child, I was able to catch a few episodes without my parents looking. I'll be watching this to see how much it's changed.

Well, I thought the first of the new shows tonight was very good. This looks like a promising new series. :D

Excellent start to the new series and already much better than the disappointments of series 7, 8 and Back to Earth :D

Yeah, Series 7 was pretty torrid. Series 8 wasn't that bad; it had its moments, but was let down by having two 'multiple part' stories. Had it had more 'stand-alones', I'm sure it would be remembered much more fondly.

I didn't think the second new ep tonight was as good. It had plenty of good moments, but nothing terribly memorable (except Lister talking to a video of himself, which was so clever  ).

Well, the new series concluded tonight. I thought the final episode was great. It was nice that they gave the crew a happy ending; the series probably deserved one.

Overall, I think this new series was a success. Sure, some of it was a bit off-key, but I enjoyed the shows, the cast did a good job, and the humour was in character. A good series; lets hope for more! :D :smt023
