About time.

Wonder if Pointless will move to BBC1 to take its place?

You actually still like it?!?

Fair enough - but the vast majority of people do believe that it is well past its sell-by-date...

I stopped watching it in 2002. More than 10 years of this is far too long.

I didn't even realise it was still going - I thought Anne Robinson was concentrating on USA episodes now, and there hadn't been any new UK episodes for a while. Obviously I was wrong!

I liked the show when it initially started but I soon grew bored of it and thought each episode was too long. I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has. Millionaire's only lasted as long as it has because it's had some format tweaks over the years - I'm not aware of Weakest Link having had any format tweaks!

I used to watch it quite a lot years ago. I always quite liked the celebrity specials, but it has been ages since i've watched it now.

Apparently when it ends next year they will have made 1,693 episodes in 12 years. DoND is currently on 1,596 episodes in the space of around 6½ years.

If they were looking for a replacement show then I agree that it should be Pointless. I've watched that show since it started and am a big fan of it. It's also becoming more and more popular in the ratings as well. Apparently it beat DoND a couple of weeks back in the ratings for the first time.

Not surprising. It's been mainly repeats from 2006 lately. Shame to see it go though. Some of the wrong answers have been hilarious! :laughing

Anyone remember the moment when someone shouted "PASS!" when they meant to say "BANK?"

I also saw sometime ago someone fail at an easy maths question. "In maths, what is the only number between 40 & 50 that is wholly divisible by 9?"
The contestant answered 36!

According to a post on Digital Spy, Weakest Link will be moving to BBC 2 at 4:30PM from 4th July while Pointless will be replacing this in the 5:15PM slot on BBC 1.

Yay! I love Pointless. Looking forward to seeing it back again and it's celebrity specials too according to Radio Times! :D

So WL is ending its days back on the channel it started out on - albeit not in the same time slot...

I don't think anyone didn't expect Pointless to move to BBC1. ;)

Just realised that the episode at 3:45 on BBC1 today was THE last episode.

Not much fanfare about it, was there? :?

Anyway, Robbo invited back nine of her favourite contestants for it, and there was a highlights reel for her at the end. ;)

Caught the end of this. Was amazed that I knew a lot of the answers in the final. Compare this to the number of answers I get on an average edition of UC!

Compilation of AR's bits wasn't bad; would've been nice to see some other highlights too though, like this for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQneots_Aic
