I've seen less replays of my least favourite memories than Pointless repeats. New shows were only on for about a month, I believe...shameful, to be honest.

Yeah, when Wimbledon was finished, it wasn't until 30th August that new episodes returned. Now just 38 DAYS after that it's gone back to repeats! The BBC is a complete joke! I mean we pay for a TV LICENSE to get this stuff! :smt011

The regular series may be repeats but at least the celeb episodes are still going. However, BBC's scheduling appears to be messed up. Today's show is episode 3 of series 5 but next week's is episode 8! :shock:
Why have they skipped 4 episodes? :ponder:

Got a Pointless today in the final.

Rock & Punk was the category and the options were:
  • Sex Pistols UK Top 75 Singles
  • Blink-182 UK Top 75 Singles
  • Green Day Studio Albums

Only knew the obvious ones from Sex Pistols. Couldn't remember any Green Day albums but I got a Pointless for Blink-182 for "What's My Age Again?". Very surprised that was Pointless! :shock:

I had one of those surveys for Pointless today. The title said it was for series 11 so still more series to come.
Some of the topics that came up:
  • Singles with the word Mama or Papa in them
  • Clues to Queen songs
  • Anagrams of Monaco Grand Prix winners
  • Facts about Wayne Rooney
  • Top 100 Desert Island Discs requests
  • British Comedy Actresses
  • Breakfast TV Presenters (pictures)
  • People or characters that make up groups of 7, ie Seven Dwarfs, Secret Seven, S Club 7, etc...
  • South American Cities with letters missing (the picture was terrible, I could barely make the words out)

Also, the time given is 150 seconds and not the 100 they mention in the show.

The options were:

  • Female Tennis players with a Career Grand Slam (or won all 4 Grand Slams in other words)
