Hi Everyone, have noticed a few peoples names who come on here when playing online, what do you think of this new show that is on in the New Year? I think it is a mixture of The Cube/DOND/Million Pound Drop/Take Your Pick & Golden Balls and think it is very addictive what do you think ? :smt023 selv..ps who else has sent off the application form?

Think the host is being announced soon.

I've played the online game and am very impressed. Not sure I agree with selv's pick of references - I'd pick out two rather more obscure shows that are much more similar. It's basically one round of a much older Channel 4 show, "Grand Slam" (gameplay video from the US here), but instead of being a straight race to not run out of time, each correct answer freezes the clock and allows you to pick from a board that looks a lot like that from Challenge show "Take It Or Leave It".

I'd say it's similar to Take It Or Leave it and DOND. Love the online game even if it is quite laggy

I don't know if it was my connection but for some reason, it would get to a point (usually your opponent's question, your opponent picking a box) and it would freeze as if the person on the other hand wasn't responding

Anyone been watching Bank Job this weekend? Scott just won his THIRD game and has now got a total of £152,000!!

He will be back on Friday again to play for even more. Even if he loses, he'll be back next Saturday for the grand final! So, there is no getting rid of him at all.
After that, the last 2 shows we'll be celeb specials. Urgh... :smt011

This Scott fella is incredibly incredibly lucky. Stacey had 45 seconds and Scott had 6. He then answers two questions rapidly and pulls £46,000 out of the hat. Stacey then floundered with the questions. Stacey lost from what seemed to be an impenetrable position.

And that's why I love this show. Things turn on their heads devilishly quickly.

Did you see the share or steal yesterday? The prize fund was £100k. Scott & Stacey were the two players that made it through. Stacey ended up stealing the entire £100k from Scott just beacuse he had £198k already. Lots of people on Twitter were calling her greedy (including Duncan Bannatyne! :o ). I have never liked that Goldenballs Split or Steal ending.

Can understand why she did it. He's won nearly £200,000 and she had nothing. Even now, Scott has still won more than double her winnings, with the potential to win more. Scott himself had his hands tied -- he would have looked like a complete and utter pillock if he had tried to take all the cash for himself considering how much he's won and how much his opponent had won.

In a perfect world, they would have split and everyone would have been happy. I'm sure Stacey could have done a lot with £50k.
