The show we all love and hate is back, starting off as always with the first round of auditions later tonight at 7:30pm

This should be fun, may we pray we do not have another Jedward issue

They took so long with Katie, think she may annoy a few voters

My verdict, what a load of crap!! Sorry, but the first shows (both X Factor and Xtra Factor) were really bad. The only good singer given air time was Holly who did Creep. Not a great audition but she does have raw potential. Too much time was given over to the really bad acts and some even got through!!! It also rankled that the few girl groups didn't get to be seen as the focus was more on the saucer of milk joke between Cowell and Cole. Yes it was funny but I would rather see more of the acts put through than this larking about and the naff singers!! Turn it up Cowell cos it really needs to get a lot better. :suspect:

It's only just getting started, I know Big Brother has let a lot of people down but give it a chance ;)

Judging by the way Ms. Tweedy was constantly talking about the groups, I think she's going to get that category

Without sounding mean, but I do worry that her malaria issue and her divorce from Cashley Cole may give her the sympathy vote to help her over the line as the winning judge and give her the hat-trick of wins

Back to yesterday's show, what the hell were they thinking putting that nutter through at the end

Then there's Katie of course the one who looked like she came from the 80's, and I read today in one of the papers she may be chucked out because she has had a record deal in the past apparently

Then there was Gamu, not bad but she can't expect to keep rolling out the 'I want a better life for my family' line as people will tire of it. And in regards to all the tears, I don't think she would cope at all on the live shows if she got there as she fell apart even when waiting for the verdicts so I think I would let her down gently at about the judges homes stage and let her have another try next year

Not being funny, but if anybody wins from this first lot of auditions, then I will eat my metaphorical hat. Only two good singers for me there were Gamu and Katie.

No sob stories which is shocking, but we still somehow managed a flood of tears because Gamu has above average vocal chords and a mum. I mean, come on! Then there's Katie. I like her image. She's something different to the kind of folk usually getting far in this show, but I don't think her voice is strong enough to win unfortunately.

As for that Shirlina...what the hell! Why did they let that through? She better get chucked out at bootcamp, because I refuse to sit through another exorcism of hers as Simon put it. It went on too long, and I found myself wanting to stick two drills in my ears. The worrying thing is I can see her being the Jedward of 2010. Oh God.

I wouldn't count on Cheryl getting sympathy votes, cause there are jealous people who despise her as well as her fans

Simon will try to do whatever it takes to make sure she doesn't do the hat trick, I can count on it

Spoilers:

Judge's Categories:
Simon: Girls (16 - 28)
Louis: Boys (16 - 28)
Cheryl: Groups
Danni: Overs (28 +)
There is a possibility of a wild card but it isn't know whether it will happen. Next week sees TreyC Cohen from Simon's Judges Houses last year return and stun the judges with her rendition of ''You Got The Love'' and if rumours are true, she is the reason Simon changed the age for the Girls and Boys.

Katie has been disqualified. Good opener and very good talent in Gamu. Can't wait for next week's big star.

Glad that Louis hasn't got the groups, no Jedward number 2, which is a big relief! Danni got the Overs again, I pray she doesn't put another Rachel or Daniel on the top 4...

Rachel was fantastic, she wasn't given a chance by the media and Danni didn't really get her.

The autotuning not only changes the pitch of the singers but the sound of the vocals as well.
There won't be any way this will be changed for Saturday's show as they were prerecorded earlier this year! :)
