Going to show clips of how fab Knightmare was and the fact it was educational too. Starting with the very first game.

I used to love Knightmare as a kid. Not many gameshows could scare and entertain you at the same time. There's a great fansite at http://www.knightmare.com/

I've watched some clips of it. It looks really good. I loved the part where the contestants had to spell "Shroud" backwards and they ended up saying "Osrdhu"

Thanks for posting those clips Tall Paul. I particularly like the first one with the hilariously well spoken kid who gives a precise description of everything - “You’re in a REASONABLY large room”. :smt046

Apparently (so I’m told) I used to watch Knightmare with my sister every Friday afternoon after nursery/school, but I have no recollection of this (although it does look like the sort of programme I would have loved as a kid). That's said I would have only been about 5 at the time it finished it's last series so it's likely I was too young to remember.

"Simon, sidestep to your left!"

Also did you know that the Blockbusters theme fits into the Knightmare intro almost perfectly?

The other way round is true too.
