So who watched it last Sunday?

After Wendy kept up the run of £50k winners, up stepped Aaron from Ilford.

He breezed through Pursuit and Navigate, losing only one life along the way - and then came that old favourite, Cylinder...

If, beforehand, you couldn't understand entirely why Les walked at £50k with six lives and his Simplify left - well, afterwards, you certainly could...

I'm sure I've seen Cylinder as the £100,000 game before. That was just really unlucky to lose 8 lives in one game. :smt009

I have to say well done to Wendy for getting £50k. 3 lives just isn't enough to risk losing all that money.

Cylinder is one of those games that can be played at any level. ;)

Phil said beforehand that the average number of lives it took was 2.5 - well, it'll be considerably greater than that now.

But that was, in fact, the third instance of a player losing eight lives in a single game - the other two came in the last series, with Alex on Descent (losing £2k in the process) and Zoe on Time-Split (for £1k, which she promptly lost on Stabilise).

The Cube won a Bafta award tonight, beating The X Factor. Simon Cowell won't be happy. ;)

Last night's player was probably the WORST I have ever seen. How can you lose 6 lives from counting squares?

That was a repeat of the celebrity specials from earlier in the year/last year if I remember rightly.

Nope, it wasn't a celebrity episode. It was the last in the current series that finished on Sunday. By the looks of the "Next Time", I think it's more celeb shows.

I know...I was saying it was when I'd get to see it

What a show though - congrats to Tom for winning £100,000...could even have gone for the jackpot if it weren't for the fact the money was going to a good cause...he did well with Barrier so even with a third barrier he could quite easily have done it with the lives he had left

So, is anyone watching the latest series?

Several good new games like Metronome, Eliminate, and Trail.

Last night we had a £50k winner - but we also had a contestant who was seriously unlucky to get Trail and then Revolving Shot, since timing and throwing were not her strong points... :(

How well did she do? Missed the second part due to the results of Strictly Come Dancing...

She lost three lives on Trail, used her Simplify, lost another life before succeeding, and then lost all her remaining lives on Revolving Shot.

As I said, she was seriously unlucky to get these two games...

£2,000.
This series is alright so far, some cool new games :-) I really hope someone has the guts to go all the way this series...

Well, remember, if someone is to win the £250k, they'll have to succeed twice at the toughest game they face... ;)

Correct thread this time.

Missed the second part due to Strictly results, how well did the first player do?

Did anyone see tonight's episode then?
The last contestant was really unlucky with the 50k game... :(

Missed it. How many lives did she have at the £50,000 game?
