As I am married to the world's oldest man, and I am still only a spring chicken, I had never heard of Genesis until I met him, but now I am hooked, listening to music from the 70's that in my view is far better than some of the music heard today. Does anyone agree and what is your favourite Genesis song? Haha I bet that this is one on the most un-posted on threads because I'm the only saddo into Genesis lol

Peter gabriel was the better writer, but without phil collins I dont think they would ever have been as big as they are/were, because he made the band a lot more "commerciable" I know thats not a word but you get the crack. Tony banks though has done most of the writing/producing etc since time began so i think that they would have been lost without him. Also phil collins makes a balls up of all peter gabriel songs he sings! In the cage for one and also I know what I like

and he knows im right!!!!!!! did you see the repeat of phil collins on room 101 last night? he is so funny! my fave album was invisible touch but its not anymore i love foxtrot, from the peter gabriel era, suppers ready is a fab song!
