Your mate gets the magazine?! You should! It's well worth saving up for each month!

I dont know how spoilery this is but I imagine they'll have a 'here's whats coming up this series on the first episode'...

So coming up is...

The Alfa Romeo Challenge (Sub £1,000)
Audi RS6 v Skier
Nissan GT-R v The Bullet Train
Grosse Mercedes v Rolls Royce Corniche
Reinventing the police car
and a bit TOP GEAR V THE GERMANS (Where Sabine Schmitz (the Nurburgring lady) who now hosts the German version of TOP GEAR has challenged May, Clarkson and Hammond in a series of challenges. Which sounds great!)

Clarkson is a legend. I would not watch Top Gear if Clarkson wasn't involved.

The BBC Trust has recieved a complaint from a viewer due to the fact that on the polar trip May and Clarkson had a drink and were driving... (and about frostbitten genitalia) :? (Link)

To which May has rather nicely said 'Sod off'' :P

PC brigade going too far...

Sorry but i agree about the drink driving, doesnt matter that there are no laws there or that its remote, your showing it on telly where people cant drink and drive and therefore have a moral responsibility to not show such things.

I'd completely agree with you if it was normal circumstances. We have enough drink and drive related accidents out here and unfortunately quite a few fatalities so it would be pretty shocking to see May making cocktails on say the M25 and handing them to Clarkson but this all happened half way to the North Pole it doesnt have quite the same affect. Wouldnt you still be legal to drive after a Gin and Tonic? I dont know the limits...

It is a bit worrying if people do get swayed by things on TV like that though... how easily do they get swayed :?

The limit is 2 units, not 2 drinks 2 units so it's a bit of dodgy area really. I dont think you should be allowed to drink at all and then drive, why take that risk?

You will be suprised at how easily people are swayed by tv, it has a bigger effect on us then you would think.

That says it all really.

Clarkson, May & Hammond = the Three Idiots.

May & Hammond are threatening to quit apparently in a pay dispute with the BBC about how they don't get as much as Clarkson... they both have a month left on their contracts. :?

Hammond and May and Clarkson all make me laugh. Maybe they all should go into comedy?
