This is the worst movie I've ever seen. I found it very boring and tedious how everyone cheered all the time it was on. I mean, if Heath Ledger didn't die so young, then nobody would make a big fuss over this. It's so overrated! I mean every single bloody critic in the world loves this film. Get a piece of crap and cover it in diamonds, give it an oscar.

I'm sorry, this is no way better than his performance in Brokeback Mountain. I don't see why he starred in this in the first place. I regret not seeing Mamma Mia for the 23rd time. This was boring and no better than any other comic book related movie.

RIP. Heath Ledger.

Rating - 2.8/10

Have to completely disagree.

I went to see it today and it was easily one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Yes, jiveclive makes a good point about it Heath Ledger was still around the interest might not be as huge, but that has absolutely nothing to do with him playing a fantastic role in this movie.

Christian Bale is still remarkable in the Batman suit, and I hope to see him in more Batman movies!

I thought it was a brilliant watch - 9/10

I haven't seen it and don't intend to. I hate Batman style films.

What? This film is absolutely amazing! Best film I've seen this year, admittedly I havent seen many but it was awesome.

Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker, he deserves at least the nomination for an Oscar.

What utter tripe- Heath Ledger is being commended for his performance because it was an excellent portrayal of a psychotic killer (admittedly, I found Jack Nicholson's Joker far better but even so, this is a fantastic attempt) and, regardless of whether he's dead or not, an Oscar nomination is well deserved. The film is so far removed from any other comic book movie- it's an intense, psychological thriller with some beautiful imagery, poignant and powerful messages and a fantastic portrayal of human emotions and reactions.

Well yes Heath Ledger gave a brilliant performance but he was the only wire working the film. The rest was a collage of special effects and action scenes. I would rather go see a genuine funny film. I don't like action/comic book esque films.

When you pay for Batman movies to be made, you can dictate whether they be genuinely funny or action/comic book-esque, until then shut up bothreed not

Again, utter tripe. Heath ledger was just one brilliant cast member. Maggie Gyllenhaal played the character of Rachel far more convincingly than Katie Holmes ever did, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were their usual best and the supporting cast members were all very good too, particularly Eric Roberts' character. The only person I disliked was Christian Bale- I really can't stand him as Batman, yet find his role in American Psycho one of the best movie performances of the last 20 years.

Then again, each to his own- though why go and see a clearly well-hyped action/comic book movie if you're not a fan of those types of films?

Just got back from seeing this, I loved it, Heath Ledger in particular was brilliant, the Joker was rather creepy, but had comedy moments too, but all the main cast were awesome.

Just been to see this film at the cinema already and I totally disagree with jiveclive. It's a brilliant film, has a good storyline to it. Whether Heath Ledger is alive now or not, he defo deserves an oscar for his role as the Joker. Had me lol'ing at some of his parts. :P So yeah, I think he was a great actor, and so were all the others.

I give it a 9.5/10. :D

Yeah, he was quite scary. His laugh creeped me out a bit. :Jimmy_is_great

But he was a brilliant actor, he had me laughing at most parts. :)

I actually think, if anything, that Gary Oldman should get an oscar for his performance. He was brilliant and he didn't have the dodgy eye-liner, foundation overload and lipstick malfunction to keep him going
